摘要: A shadow body includes an effective area having minor and major axes that extend perpendicularly to each other. Each of electron beam passage apertures formed in the effective area is a communication hole that connects a larger hole opening in one surface of the effective area and a smaller hole opening in the other surface of the effective area. A joint portion between the larger and smaller holes of each electron beam passage apertures in the central portion of the effective area is situated in the thickness-direction central portion of the mask body. A joint portion between the larger and smaller holes of each electron beam passage aperture in the peripheral portion of the effective area is situated closer to the one surface side of the effective area than the thickness-direction central portion is, the larger hole being offset against the smaller hole in the direction of the major axis.

摘要: In a flow amount control device which control flow amount of fuel to be supplied to a high pressure fuel pump, an opening, which communicates with a port for passing fuel to the high pressure fuel pump, is composed of a first rectangular opening, a second rectangular opening whose circumferential length is larger than that of the first opening, and a third trapezoidal opening bridging between the first and second openings. The port communicates with the first opening, when engine speed is low, and, as the engine speed increases, with the third and second openings. Accordingly, the flow amount of fuel to be discharged from the high pressure fuel pump varies non-linearly and a change of the flow amount thereof is small in engine low speed region.

摘要: A vascular catheter usable for intravascular surgical operation, highly localized injection of medicine such as anticancer drugs, and angiography. The main portion of the catheter body is made up of an inner tube formed synthetic-resin and an outer tube formed of a synthetic resin covering the outside surface of the inner tube. The tip of the catheter body is made up of the portion of the outer tube extending from the distal end of the inner tube. The inner tube has one or more grooves, slots or slits formed in the distal end portion.

摘要: In an apparatus for use in a computer system for accessing to a main memory when a desired datum is not memorized in a cache memory, a supplementary memory is included in the apparatus for memorizing a supplementary datum representative of a predetermined address in the main memory. When the desired datum is not memorized in a particular address of the cache memory, a judging circuit produces a particular signal. By a combination of the supplementary datum and the particular signal, an access control part accesses to the main memory to read a specific datum of the main data as the desired datum from the main memory. The specific datum is stored in the particular address from the access control part. The described system can be used for both tagged and untagged data, allowing for compatibility between data systems using different tagging schemes.

摘要: This specification discloses a method of toner transfer development in which a low frequency alternating electrical bias is applied to the space between a latent image bearing member and a developer carrying member to develop the latent image on the latent image bearing member, and an apparatus for carrying out the same method. This bias has a first process in which reciprocal movement of developer particles is effected also between the non-image area of the latent image bearing member and the developer carrying member, and a second process in which the intensity of the bias is adjusted so that one-sided movement of developer particles from the developer carrying member to the image area and one-sided movement of developer particles from the non-image area to the developer carrying member may take place.

摘要: A dielectric or induction heating fixing device utilizing a high-frequency wave such as microwave for fixing an unfixed image on an image bearing member stabilizes the fixing effect in accordance with the size of the image bearing member. A control device controls the applied high-frequency wave in accordance with the size of the image bearing member, a conveyer conveys one side edge of the image bearing member of each size along a conveyance standard or reference, and a device regulates the area to which the high-frequency wave is applied, in accordance with each size. In a preferred embodiment, there is provided a control device for controlling the applied high-frequency wave so that the fixativeness of the unfixed image after the image bearing member has passed the area to which the high-frequency wave is applied becomes equal irrespective of the size of the image bearing member.

This bias has a first stage in which one-sided movement of developer particles from the developer carrying member to the image area of the latent image bearing member may take place, a second stage in which reciprocal movement of developer particles is effected between both the image and non-image areas of the latent image bearing member and the developer carrying member, and a third stage in which the intensity of the bias is reduced so that one-sided movement of developer particles from the developer carrying member to the image area and one-sided movement of developer particles from the non-image area to the developer carrying member may take place.
