摘要： An enhanced efficacy aluminum only salt active. The method for making such active comprises the steps of (a) providing an aqueous solution of an aluminum salt having a Band III polymer concentration of at least about 20%; (b) adding to the aqueous solution of step (a) an aqueous solution of a monomeric aluminum salt to form a mixture; and (c) rapidly drying the mixture to form a product powder. The active comprises an aluminum only salt having a Band III polymer concentration of at least about 20%, an aluminum to anion ratio of from about 1.1:1 to about 1.8:1 and a level of monomeric aluminum of from about 2% to about 20% of the total aluminum.

摘要： Various configurations of systems that employ leadless electrodes to provide pacing therapy are provided. In one example, a system that provides multiple sites for pacing of myocardium of a heart includes wireless pacing electrodes that are implantable at sites proximate the myocardium using a percutaneous, transluminal, catheter delivery system. Each of the electrodes contains a source of electrical energy for pacing the myocardium and is adapted to receive electromagnetic energy from a source outside the myocardium. The system also includes a source adapted for placement outside the myocardium and that uses locally measured electrocardiograms to synchronize pacing of the heart by sending electromagnetic commands to the electrodes to pace the myocardium surrounding the electrodes. Also disclosed is various configurations of such systems, wireless electrode assemblies, and delivery catheters for delivering and implanting the electrode assemblies.

摘要： An enclosure comprising elements for air management, sound attenuation and fire suppression in a trailer-mounted mobile electrical power generation system. Air management is provided by ducts, fans, seals and a barrier wall. In addition, by establishing airflow away from spark-producing equipment, any fuel that might leak will not accumulate near the spark-producing equipment, and thus fire and explosion risks are reduced. Targeted sound suppression in the ducts, walls, floor and ceiling of the enclosure provides acceptable noise levels. Fire detectors, a fire suppression system and dampers allow for quickly controlling fires inside the enclosure. A roof panel sealing system provides access into the enclosure during assembly and maintenance while providing a watertight and noise tight seal during transit and operations.

摘要： Input stage having increased input signal noise margin and method for generating an output signal having a predetermined logic level based on the voltage level of an input signal. The input stage includes an input buffer generating an output signal having a logic level based on the voltage of the input signal relative to the voltage of the reference voltage signal. A voltage generator provides a variable output voltage signal that is used as the reference voltage by the input buffer. The voltage of the output voltage signal provided by the voltage generator is dependent on the logic value of the output signal of the input buffer. In this manner, the reference voltage applied to the input buffer can be adjusted based on the logic level of the outputs signal in order to provide increased input signal noise margin.

Advantageously, the power converter (10) resolves many of system management problems associated with carrying all of the different interface components necessary to power a wide variety of mobile products from either an AC or DC power supply. In addition, the power converter (10) also advantageously includes dual output voltage terminals (16/18) to allow for multiple mobile devices of varying power requirements to be powered, simultaneously, by a single converter.
