摘要： In accordance with the method, system and program of the present invention, authority-designated settings are stored on a portable data storage medium in association with a particular user, wherein the authority-designated settings designate levels of access to particular types of content as determined by multiple authorities to the particular user. Transmittal of a selection of the authority-designated settings is required from the portable data storage medium in a transmittable data format to a particular authority-enabled system from among multiple authority-enabled systems, wherein each of the multiple authority-enabled systems provides access to multiple diverse types of content. The particular user is only allowed access to a selection of the multiple types of content that are enabled according to the authority-designated settings at the particular authority-enabled system.

At least one web page is selected for voice browsing by a particular caller waiting in a hold queue. The particular caller may be offered an incentive to voice browse the at least one web page, such that an on hold system housing the hold queue may promote voice browsing of specific web pages. Incentives may be in the form of points that are redeemable by the caller, for example, for adjustments in position within the call queue. In addition, the identity of the caller is preferably authenticated and a caller profile accessed according to the authenticated caller identity. Voice browsing web page selections may be tailored for the caller according to the caller profile.

Third party regulation criteria identify individuals who are regulated for calling into or receiving calls from a particular line. For each call received at the line, the identity of the caller is detected. For each call placed from the line, the identity of the callee is detected. Then, the call is regulated according to the relevant third party regulation criteria, such that a third party is enabled to regulate all calls from or to a particular line without being a direct party to the calls.

摘要： A system and method for recording a telephone conference and replaying a portion of the recording during the conference. Users participate by connecting through different types of networks using a device having a communication line connection. The recording can be in audio format, text format, or both. Thus, users can recall and replay textual information in addition to the recorded audio. Other information-such as time and user data-may also be recorded along with the audio and text. Users in the conference are identified to enable the association with them each user's contribution to the conference. The user or the user's device can assist by providing identification information. User identification may also be accomplished by associating each user's contribution with the particular line the user is calling from. Caller ID information may also be used to identify the user. Voice analysis may also performed to accomplish user identification.

摘要： A system and method for identifying users dropped from a conference call and rejoining the user to the call upon reconnection. Users can participate in the conference by connecting through different types of networks using a device having one or more types of communication lines. When a user is disconnected before the end of the conference (due to a bad mobile phone connection, for example), a bookmark is placed in the recording indicating the disconnection point. When the user rejoins the conference, the user is given the option to begin listening to the conference at the point where the user was disconnected. The user can issue playback-type requests, such as play, rewind, fast forward, etc., to review missed information. Other users are alerted by a characteristic tone when a user disconnects from the conference and by another characteristic tone when the disconnected user rejoins the conference.

A user issues a command using a telephony device and optionally indicates the beginning and end of the portion to be sent. The user provides recipient information, such as an email address. A user can issue these commands by voice or by sending data (for example, text) through the user's device. The commands may also be issued by software running on the user's device. The user can choose to send the selected portion in audio format, textual format, or both. The selected portion can be sent through the internet using email, instant messaging, or FTP, for example. The marked portion can also be sent over a telephone, a computer network, or the like.

The environment indicators are transmitted in the common transmittable data format to a data processing system, wherein the data processing system has access to a personal storage device proffered by a particular user. An environment sensitivity profile for the particular user associated with the particular environment, is retrieved from the personal storage device to the data processing system. An environment indicator analyzer application executing on the data processing system analyzes the multiple environment indicators received at the data processing system according to the environmental sensitivity profile and determines control signals for adjusting multiple environmental control systems that control the particular environment.
