There are provided a light source outputting a light having a first wavelength; a terminal unit including a directional coupling section having first and second optical waveguides, in which a first surface is formed on one end of the directional coupling section, and first and second optical input/output units respectively connected to the first and second optical waveguides are connected to the other end of the directional coupling section, and the light having the first wavelength is input from one end, and the light having the second wavelength is input and output from the first optical input/output unit; and an optical filter provided between a first end surface and the light source for passing the light having the first wavelength and for reflecting the light having the second wavelength. The light having the first wavelength is output from the second optical input/output unit, and the light having the second wavelength is input or output. The directional coupling section is designed to have the complete coupling length for the light having the first wavelength, and have a half length of the complete coupling length for the light having the second wavelength. Anoptical amplifier reduces the loss generated in the process from the pump light source to the rare-earth doped optical fiber so that the reduction of the gain of the rare-earth doped optical fiber can be prevented.

Piping associated with interlocked brakes for front and rear wheel brakes is to be simplified to improve maintainability and provide a brake system suitable particularly for a two-wheeled motor vehicle satisfying racing specifications. A braking system includes hydraulic brakes with three hydraulic systems which are a lever hydraulic system for a front wheel brake, an interlocked hydraulic system for a rear wheel brake and a pedal hydraulic system. A pressure sensor detects a hydraulic pressure in the lever hydraulic system and outputs the detected signal to a control unit in the interlocked hydraulic system through an electric wire. The control unit controls the operation of a motor, thereby causing a hydraulic pressure to be developed in a submaster cylinder, which hydraulic pressure is fed to the rear wheel brake through a control valve. On the other hand, the pedal hydraulic system has a piping independent of that of the interlocked hydraulic system and supplies a hydraulic pressure generated in a master cylinder for the rear wheel brake by operation of a brake pedal to the rear wheel brake through a route separate from the interlocked hydraulic system.

A curable composition comprising (A) a reactive silicon group-containing oxypropylene polymer having a ratio of Mw.sup.1 /Mn.sup.1 of higher than 1.6 and (B) a reactive silicon group-containing oxypropylene polymer having a ratio of Mw.sup.2 /Mn.sup.2 of not higher than 1.6 and a number-average molecular weight (Mn.sup.2) of not less than the number-average molecular weight (Mn.sup.1) of the oxypropylene polymer (A). A problem caused by the high viscosity of the oxypropylene polymer having a ratio of Mw.sup.1 /Mn.sup.1 of higher than 1.6 can be solved and the viscosity the polymer (A) before curing can be lowered without greatly lowering excellent rubber elasticity of cured articles by mixing the polymer (A) with the oxypropylene polymer (B) having a ratio of Mw.sup.2 /Mn.sup.2 of not higher than 1.6.

An object of the invention is to provide a curing agent and a curable composition capable of forming a cured product, which is applicable for optical material and which has excellent heat and light transparency and crack resistance, and a cured product obtained by curing the same. Moreover, an object of the invention is to provide a method for producing with use of the components of the curing agent a cyclic polyorganosiloxane having a specific structure, in a selective manner and in high yield. A portion of the swing arm, adjacent to the reservoir tank, is configured with a concave recess formed therein extending inwardly towards a longitudinal center line of the vehicle body. The reservoir tank is situated closer to a vehicle body inner side, and is deeper in the recess than the rear master cylinder.
