摘要： A male connector (M) is provided with a receptacle (10) and a female connector (F) is provided with a housing (40) that can fit into the receptacle (10) from the front. Mounting grooves (18) are formed by recessing both side walls (16) of the receptacle (10) and fixing members (30) are mounted into the mounting grooves (18). The fixing members (30) are fixed to a circuit board (80) by soldering. Engaging projections (49) bulge out sideways from the opposite side surfaces of the housing (40). Engaging grooves (19) are recessed in the inner side surfaces of the both side walls (16) of the receptacle (10) at positions before the mounting grooves (18) and engage with the engaging projections (49) as the connectors (F, M) are connected to resist a tensile force acting when the housing (40) is pulled away from the circuit board (80).

摘要： Terminals connected to wires pass through insertion holes of a holder and the segment holes of a seal member, and are held in the receptors of a connector housing in a state such that the seal member is housed in a recess of a seal setting portion of the connector housing. A pressing portion of the holder containing indents compresses the seal member to thereby reduce the respective sizes of the segment holes of the seal member so as deform the segment holes to shrink in conformity with the outer shape of the inserted wires.

摘要： A connector terminal is provided with a press-in portion extending in forward and backward directions; a trunk portion (joining portion) extending downward from the press-in portion; a base portion extending forward and backward from the bottom end (leading end) of the trunk portion, a pair of deflectable pieces for connection (contact portions) which are vertically resiliently displaceable, extend forward and backward from the base portion at the front and rear sides of the trunk portion and have contacts at their sides opposite from the press-in portions; and a leg portion extending upward from the rear end of the press-in portion. The connector terminal is inserted into a corresponding cavity from behind the housing with a leading end of the press-in portion faced forward, and is accommodated and held in the cavity by pressing the leading end into a fixing hole formed in the housing and engaging a hook provided at the leading end with the housing. Contact portions can be effectively prevented from undergoing a deformation (plastic deformation) during the insertion of the connector terminal into the connector housing.

At least one of the first and second mold portions is movable toward and away from the other. Molding surfaces of the respective first and second mold portions have their respective areas which are located radially outwardly of an effective aperture of the lens. A plurality of recesses are formed in the molding surface of at least one of the first and second mold portions and are located in the area of the molding surface of the at least one mold portion. These recesses separate the lens from the molds.
