    摘要: A system for use in providing a wideband signal from a received narrowband signal is set forth. The system comprises an extracted narrowband feature vector that corresponds to at least one characteristic of the narrowband signal. A narrowband codebook having one or more narrowband codebook index vectors is also employed, where each narrowband codebook index vector is associated with one or more corresponding narrowband codebook parameters. An analyzer is provided to correlate the extracted narrowband feature vector with an entry in the narrowband codebook. More particularly, the analyzer is responsive to the extracted narrowband feature vector to identify the narrowband codebook feature index vector that best matches the extracted narrowband feature vector. A signal mapper is provided to execute a mapping function of the extracted narrowband feature vector and/or the narrowband codebook index vector identified by the analyzer. In executing the mapping function, the signal mapper uses mapping parameters that correspond to the narrowband codebook entry associated with the narrowband codebook index vector identified by the analyzer. The signal mapper generates at least one estimated wideband feature vector through execution of the mapping function. The estimated wideband feature vector is used by a signal generator to generate a wideband signal that corresponds to an extended bandwidth version of the received narrowband signal.

    摘要: Systems and methods for a temperature control loop in a vehicular engine compartment to concurrently cool at least two devices with a single fluid supply source when each device requires the cooling supply fluid to have a distinct temperature. The supply fluid, having a first temperature, can be simultaneously routed through a primary heat exchanger and a mixing valve. The primary heat exchanger cools the first temperature fluid to produce a second temperature fluid. The mixing valve controllably receives at least some of the first temperature fluid and some of the second temperature fluid discharged from the primary heat exchanger and mixes the respective fluids to produce a third temperature fluid. The second temperature fluid not diverted to the mixing valve is used to cool a first device located downstream of the primary heat exchanger. The third temperature fluid is used to cool a second device located downstream of the mixing valve.

Only three masking steps are required due to the use of adjustment structures and of a chipping stopper with an edge passivation containing a-C:H or a-Si. In this manner, the high-voltage diode is inexpensive to manufacture. The diode has a rating for reverse voltages of, in particular, above about 400 V and preferably above about 500 V, and can be fabricated with the least possible process complexity and thus a small number of photo technologies and, in the edge region, can readily be equipped with a channel stopper for avoiding leakage currents and a chipping stopper for limiting the extent of saving defects.
