摘要: A molded body contains foamed pellets, containing a composition (M1) containing a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-1), having a ratio of average surface area to average volume of the pellets (A/V) determined according to method-example 1 and 2 in a range of from 1.4 to 3.0. A process for preparing the molded body involves providing the foamed pellets comprising the composition (M1), and fusing the foamed pellets to obtain the molded body. A molded body obtained or obtainable by the process is useful in furniture, seating, cushioning, car wheels or parts of car wheels, toys, animal toys, tires or parts of a tire, saddles, balls and sports equipment, sports mats, or as floor covering or wall paneling, especially for sports surfaces, track and field surfaces, sports halls, children's playgrounds, and pathways.

摘要: Methods for manufacturing articles of footwear are provided. In various aspects, the methods comprise utilizing additive manufacturing methods with foam particles. In some aspects, the additive manufacturing methods comprise increasing the temperature of a plurality of foam particles with actinic radiation under conditions effective to fuse a portion of the plurality of foam particles comprising one or more thermoplastic elastomers. Increasing the temperature of the foam particles can be carried out for one or multiple iterations. The disclosed methods can be used to manufacturer articles with sub-regions that exhibit differing degrees of fusion between the foam particles, thereby resulting in sub-regions with different properties such as density, resilience, and/or flexural modulus. 摘要: Expanded poly(lactide) (PLA) beads are made by pressurizing PLA beads with carbon dioxide at approximately room temperature, heating the beads under pressure to 90 to 160 C to saturate and partially crystallize the beads, and then depressurizing and cooling the beads. The PLA beads contain a blend of PLLA and PDLA in certain ratios. The beads are useful for making expanded bead foam.

摘要: The present invention provides a thermally expandable microcapsule that has excellent heat resistance and compression resistance and that enables the production of a foam molded article that is less likely to undergo deterioration or appearance defects over a long period of time, as well as a foamable masterbatch and a foam molded article each produced using the thermally expandable microcapsule. Provided is a thermally expandable microcapsule including a shell and a volatile expansion agent as a core agent encapsulated by the shell, the shell containing a black material and a polymer compound.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for production of expanded foam beads of one or more polyesters based on aliphatic or aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids and aliphatic diols, comprising the steps of: (a) melting the polyester and admixing the polyester with 1 to 3.5 wt %, based on the polyester, of a carbon dioxide and/or nitrogen blowing agent and also 0.1 to 2 wt % of a nucleating agent, and pressing the nucleated polyester melt, containing blowing agent, through a perforated disk controlled to a temperature between 150° C. and 185° C. and into a pelletizing chamber, (b) using a cutting device to comminute the polymer melt pressed through the perforated disk into individual expanding pellets, (c) discharging the pellets from the pelletizing chamber into a stream of water which is at a temperature of 5 to 90° C. and a pressure of 0.1 bar to 20 bar above ambient pressure.

In various aspects, the disclosed methods can be used to manufacturer articles with sub-regions that differential levels of affixing between the foam particles, and thereby resulting in sub-regions with different properties such as density, resilience, and/or flexural modulus. 摘要: Disclosed are a colored TPU foam material, a preparation method and a use thereof, as we as a method for preparing a shaped body, a sheet and a shoe material by using same. The colored TPU foam material is composed of colored foam particles or colored foam sheets; the concentration of a pigment in the colored foam particles or the colored foam sheets is 0.01-5 wt %; the pigment has the same concentration inside and outside the colored TPU foam material, and the colored TPU foam material has a hardness of shore A 5-65, a density of 0.05-0.5 g/cm3, and an average cell size of less than 100 μm. The present invention has features such as a good internal and external color uniformity, no wrinkles being present on the surface, etc.

摘要: An expanded polypropylene resin particle includes a polypropylene resin (X) as a base resin, the polypropylene resin (X) containing a polypropylene resin (I) and a high density polyethylene resin (II). The polypropylene resin (I) has a melting point of 145 to 165° C., and the high density polyethylene resin (II) has a density of 0.93 to 0.97 g/cm3. The polypropylene resin (X) contains no or one foam nucleating agent.
