摘要: Methods for manufacturing articles of footwear are provided. In various aspects, the methods comprise utilizing additive manufacturing methods with foam particles. In some aspects, the additive manufacturing methods comprise increasing the temperature of a plurality of foam particles with actinic radiation under conditions effective to fuse a portion of the plurality of foam particles comprising one or more thermoplastic elastomers. Increasing the temperature of the foam particles can be carried out for one or multiple iterations. The disclosed methods can be used to manufacturer articles with sub-regions that exhibit differing degrees of fusion between the foam particles, thereby resulting in sub-regions with different properties such as density, resilience, and/or flexural modulus. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.

摘要: Disclosed are a supercritical thermoplastic foam elastomer material and a preparation method and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of foam materials. The supercritical thermoplastic foam elastomer material comprises a thermoplastic elastomer, talc powder, a chain extender and an auxiliary material. According to the invention, a TPU raw material is injection-molded into a shape corresponding to a midsole, and can be directly molded after foaming without being cut. In addition, because the TPU raw material is integrally formed by injection molding, the particles of the popcorn material will not be adhered, and the defect of adhesion between the particles can be ameliorated.

摘要: A process for producing a flexible foam includes introducing a masterbatch material into an extruder, the masterbatch material consisting essentially of one or more thermoplastic polymers that are recycled, recyclable, biodegradable, and/or compostable, mixing an inert gas with the masterbatch material, extruding the masterbatch material through the extruder to form a polymer melt, passing the polymer melt through a die to form an extrudate, and allowing the extrudate to expand into a foam.

摘要: Provided is an oriented multilayer porous film comprising at least one layer comprising: a heat, solvent, and degradation resistant matrix polymer; a plurality of interconnecting pores; and a porosity less than 90%. The film is made by a dry and/or wet method, with its multilayer structure constructed by coextrusion, lamination, and coating. The film of this disclosure finds a wide range of applications as a permselective medium for use in energy harvesting and storage, filtration, separation and purification of gases and fluids, CO2 and volatile capture, electronics, devices, structural supports, packaging, labeling, printing, clothing, drug delivery systems, bioreactor, and the like. The film is preferably used as a separator of lithium-ion, lithium-sulfur, lithium-air, metal-air, and nonaqueous electrolyte batteries.

摘要: Polymer foam bodies are made from phosphorus-containing thermoplastic random copolymers of a dialkyl (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl phosph(on)ate. Foam bodies made from these copolymers exhibit increased limiting oxygen indices and surprisingly have good properties. In certain embodiments, the phosphorus-containing thermoplastic copolymer is blended with one or more other polymers and formed into nanofoams.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic polymer foaming sole includes the following steps. A prototype is formed. The prototype includes thermoplastic polyurethane or thermoplastic polyester elastomer but excludes a cross-linking agent and a foaming agent, and the prototype is sole-shaped. A supercritical fluid is used to foam the prototype so as to directly get the thermoplastic polymer foaming sole. A density of the thermoplastic polymer foaming sole is larger than or equal to 0.3 g/cm3 and smaller than or equal to 0.8 g/cm3.
