    摘要: A free-flowing granular detergent component comprises a high level (at least 30 wt %) of a heat-sensitive surfactant, preferably an alkyl ether sulphate; a water-insoluble silica or silicate carrier material of high oil absorption capacity; and a film-forming or crystal-forming structurant. The granular component may be used in conjunction with one or more other granular components containing surfactant and/or detergency builder, to form a particulate laundry detergent composition. The granular component is preferably prepared by mixing and granulation in a high- or moderate-shear mixer and drying in a fluidized bed.

    摘要: A wet paint spray booth treating agent includes sepiolite alone or further accompanying cationic polymer or amphoteric metal compound. In a method of treating a wet paint spray booth, the sepiolite alone or further accompanying the cationic polymer or the amphoteric metal compound is added. The wet paint spray booth treating agent and a method of treating a wet paint spray booth improve the effect of reduction in tackiness and decrease the load of agents to prevent the corrosion of furnishings. The sepiolite is a fibrous mineral containing chain structures having lots of micropores so that the sepiolite can reduce the tackiness of the paint due to reaction with the particles of the paint in such a manner to adsorb the particles in the micropores thereof. Since both the particles of the paint and the particles of the sepiolite are negatively charged, when the cationic polymer or the amphoteric metal compound is added in combination with the sepiolite, the electrical repulsion is reduced so that the particles of the paint become easy to be adsorbed to improve the effect of the reduction in the tackiness.

    摘要: A free flowing, particulte detergent-softener of high bulk density is comprised of nucleus particles of builder salt, preferably a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, having nonionic detergent in the interior and on the surface thereof, to which is adhered a coating of smaller particles of ion exchanging zeolite, and quaternary ammonium halide fabric softening compound. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the quaternary ammonium halide is "insulated" from immediate contact with laundry when the detergent-softener is added to the wash water by being added to the nucleus particles with the nonionic detergent, after which the resulting particles are coated with the zeolite powder. In another embodiment of the invention the product described is further coated with nonionic detergent and zeolite.

    摘要: Poorly flowing or caked detergent powders which include synthetic organic detergent, inorganic salt and moisture (with at least some of the moisture hydrating the salt) are reconditioned by mixing therewith a small proportion of hydratable molecular sieve zeolite, preferably of an initial moisture content of less than 3%. The reconditioned powders are free flowing, non-tacky and non-caking and the compositions resulting, rather than being less effective, have additional water softening and building properties due to the presence of the molecular sieve zeolite. Preferably, the molecular sieve zeolite employed is anhydrous and of type 4A and the detergent composition is a heavy duty non-phosphate product.
