    摘要: A picture signal processing apparatus includes a motion vector detecting unit for detecting information as to a motion vector of a picture from frames contained in an input picture signal; an interpolation frame producing unit for producing an interpolation frame by employing the motion vector; and a frame stream producing unit for producing a picture signal of a new frame stream by combining the interpolation frame produced with the frames of the input picture signal so as to output the produced picture signal of the new frame stream. When the picture signal processing apparatus performs a converting operation in such a manner that interpolation frames are continued between two frames of the input picture signal, at least one interpolation frame among the interpolation frames is formed as such an interpolation frame formed without employing the motion vector (namely, not depending upon motion of picture).

The apparatus includes: an input unit for inputting the video signal; a video interpolation unit for generating an interpolation frame and performing an interpolation process of the video signal; and a control unit for controlling the generation process of the interpolation frame by the video interpolation unit. The video interpolation unit performs the interpolation frame generation process by using a plurality of methods, and the control unit controls switching between the plurality of interpolation frame generating methods.

    摘要: A picture display technique carries out an adjustment of image quality of an inputted picture signal in response to a type of the inputted picture signal, e.g., a type of a first picture signal into which a second picture signal, having fewer scanning lines than that of the first picture signal, is converted, and an original type of the first picture signal, and then displays a picture of an adjusted picture signal on a display device. Further, the adjustment of the picture quality may include at least one of hue correction of the inputted picture signal in a certain hue range and chroma correction of the inputted picture signal in a certain chroma range. The adjustment of the picture quality may also include a contour correction of the inputted picture signal.

    摘要: A frame rate conversion device includes a signal input unit to which a video signal is inputted and a frame rate conversion unit for converting the frame number by inserting an interpolated frame into the video signal inputted to the signal input unit. The frame rate conversion unit performs block matching between a block contained in a frame preceding the interpolated frame and a block contained in a frame following the interpolated frame, thereby obtaining a motion vector of the interpolated pixel contained in the interpolated frame, and creates the interpolated pixel by using some pixels contained in the block subjected to the block matching when acquiring the motion vector.

    摘要: The present invention reduces smears arising from voltage decreases caused by the wiring resistance of scan lines for electron emission device selection. The display unit includes an FED panel in which scan lines, data lines, and electron supply devices are positioned at the intersections of the data lines and scan-lines. A scan driver for supplying a selection signal to the scan lines, and a data driver for supplying a drive signal to the data lines are provided. Electron emission devices selected by the selection signal are driven by the drive signal. A signal corrector circuit individually corrects the drive signal to be supplied to each data line to compensate for a voltage decrease caused by the wiring resistance in each column of the scan lines.

    摘要: A wet paint spray booth treating agent includes sepiolite alone or further accompanying cationic polymer or amphoteric metal compound. In a method of treating a wet paint spray booth, the sepiolite alone or further accompanying the cationic polymer or the amphoteric metal compound is added. The wet paint spray booth treating agent and a method of treating a wet paint spray booth improve the effect of reduction in tackiness and decrease the load of agents to prevent the corrosion of furnishings. The sepiolite is a fibrous mineral containing chain structures having lots of micropores so that the sepiolite can reduce the tackiness of the paint due to reaction with the particles of the paint in such a manner to adsorb the particles in the micropores thereof. Since both the particles of the paint and the particles of the sepiolite are negatively charged, when the cationic polymer or the amphoteric metal compound is added in combination with the sepiolite, the electrical repulsion is reduced so that the particles of the paint become easy to be adsorbed to improve the effect of the reduction in the tackiness.
