Abstract:
A hinge for a movable furniture part fastened to a body of a piece of furniture is proposed, the hinge having a first fastening part which is attachable to the body and which is connected pivotably via a joint mechanism to a second fastening part attachable to the movable furniture part, the joint mechanism comprising articulated levers mounted via axes of articulation. According to the invention, a further pivotably mounted lever is present, which, during a complete as-intended pivoting movement of the hinge, is temporarily coupled to a guide portion on the hinge, the further lever acting upon a damper arrangement of the hinge.
Abstract:
A drive system for a door having a door leaf guided laterally in guide rails. A carriage, which is connected to the upper edge of the door leaf in an articulated manner, is arranged to be guided along one of the guide rails. Conductive tracks running along the guide rail are provided for supplying power to a motor driving the carriage. The conductive tracks can optionally be contacted at the front or back ends thereof.
Abstract:
A mechanized door drive linkage assembly for connection to a track mounted door for mechanized translation of the door along the tracks between a closed position and an open position, a generally linear arm attached at a first end to a movable car bracket mounted upon a rail, the arm extending generally downward from the car bracket and proximate to an upper region of a door when the door is in a closed position, the arm having a linear length and a generally planar central section and one or more flanges which extend from edges of the central section and which extend out of a plane Of the central section and away from a second side of the arm which is defined by the central section, the one or more flanges terminating generally perpendicular to the central section, the one or more flanges extending substantially along a length of the arm, and a plurality of openings in the central section configured for the passage of one-or more fasteners through the central section; an elbow bracket having a first segment and a second segment and an elbow segment which connects the first segment with the second segment, the first or second segment generally aligned with and attached to the arm substantially flush against the second side of the central section of the arm and generally opposite the one or more flanges, and a distal end of the segment of the elbow bracket which is not attached to the arm extending laterally of the arm for connection to a bracket mounted to a door.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling a vehicle flap or a vehicle door, the apparatus having a housing, a first end of which is pivotably coupled to one of the following: a vehicle flap or a vehicle door and a vehicle frame, and a second end of which is pivotably coupled to the other one of the following: a vehicle flap or a vehicle door and a vehicle frame, a drive control device which is arranged on the housing, and at least one sensor which is in the form of an acceleration sensor. An abovementioned apparatus and a method, in which simple and reliable movement as well as detection and evaluation of the movement may be ensured, is provided by virtue of the acceleration sensor being arranged on the housing, and the acceleration sensor detecting the acceleration of the vehicle flap or vehicle door.
Abstract:
Electromotive furniture-flap drive, characterized by an identification device for automatically identifying the type of furniture flap in the installed state of the furniture flap drive.
Abstract:
A hinge device increases an open angle of a second member relative to a first member without enlarging the hinge device. A first pulley is fixed to a first mounting member mounted on the first member. A second pulley is fixed to a second mounting member mounted on the second member. A timing belt runs between the first and second pulleys. One end of a connecting member that connects the first mounting member to the second connecting member connects rotatably to an axis part of the first mounting member, with the opposite end connected rotatably to an axis part of the second mounting member. Pins to that abut to the outside of the timing belt are provided such that the width between one side and the opposite side of the timing belt becomes smaller than the diameter of at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley.
Abstract:
An articulated device comprises a first member (4) that is provided with a first set of teeth fixedly connected thereto (20, 22). A second adjacent member (6) is provided with a second set of teeth fixedly connected thereto (24, 26). A coupling section (32, 38) is also provided on which the first set of teeth is hingeably supported around a first hinge axis (28, 34) and on which the second set of teeth is hingeably supported around a second hinge axis (30, 36) wherein the first set of teeth engages with the second set of teeth. A positioning device sets an angular position of the first and second members relative to the coupling section.
Abstract:
Furniture hinge with damping and/or braking device in alternative to those already existing and capable of guaranteeing an improved efficiency during the closing and/or opening operation of doors, or other furniture parts, without any variations to the overall dimensions of standard hinges. The improved efficiency of the hinge is obtained by increasing the friction surfaces with a viscous medium present in suitable areas of the hinge and/or by allowing regulation of the trend of the angular velocities of one or more circular shaped elements, for example a disc, which act as braking elements in contact with the viscous medium.
Abstract:
A door opening and closing device for a slide door, which can be horizontally open and close the slide door by application of a light load and which can be constructed and maintained at low costs. The door opening and closing device has a transmission mechanism for converting through a lever (31) the amount of settlement of a tread plate (21) placed on floor surfaces at positions in front and back of the slide door (12), into a predetermined displacement amount. The tread plate (21) is weight-wise balanced such that the transmission mechanism and settlement of the tread plate due to the weight of an adjustment weight (W) causes the tread plate (21) to float through the lever (31). Up-down movement of the long transmission member (32) presses a drive rotation body (42) to an open door rail (41), and a component force of the pressing force allows the slide door (12) to be opened by application of a light load.
Abstract:
A hinge mechanism having a vehicle bracket that includes a pawl engagement member extending therefrom. A horizontally-rotating swing arm is rotatably coupled with the vehicle bracket. The hinge mechanism includes a pawl with an engagement portion and an abutment portion. The pawl is connected with the swing arm and operable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. A door bracket is rotatably coupled with the swing arm. A lever actuation member extends from the door bracket and is aligned to engage the abutment portion of the pawl.
