    摘要: A probe structure for inserting into and operating upon an object within a pipeline, especially a high pressure pipeline carrying liquid or gas, is characterized by two coaxial cylinders that can be either pneumatically or hydraulically actuated. A primary cylinder is adapted to be mounted onto a pipeline tee and/or valve, and includes a movable primary piston to which is fixedly attached a primary lower hollow shaft that moves with the primary piston and preferably a primary upper hollow shaft that also moves with the primary piston. The primary lower hollow shaft is adapted to selectively extend into the pipeline while the primary upper hollow shaft extends above the primary cylinder and is fixed to a secondary cylinder, such that the secondary cylinder moves with the primary piston. The secondary piston includes a secondary piston that moves independently of the first and second cylinders. A secondary hollow shaft is fixedly attached to the secondary piston and coaxially extends through the primary upper and lower hollow shaft, and a central bore in the primary piston, and is adapted to selectively extend into the pipeline. In this manner, an object attached to the primary lower hollow shaft may be inserted into the pipeline, while the secondary hollow shaft provides for a second operation to be performed on the object. Wires may extend through the secondary hollow shaft or air may be circulated therethrough for pneumatic purposes. As an alternative embodiment the automatic insertion device can comprise a removable primary cylindrical housing utilized for inserting the primary insertion tool and a secondary cylindrical housing for telescopically inserting a hollow tube.

    摘要: A mass fluid flow controller has a valve which is controlled by a controller rod which is substantially pivotally mounted on a metallic diaphragm which stretches and unstretches with the movement of the rod. The actuation of the rod movement is by the expansion and contraction of an actuator wire which is heated for the expansion and allowed to cool for the contraction. The primary fluid flow path through the controller is straight. A sensor conduit, providing a parallel sensor fluid flow path, is connected in position using metallic sealer members which extend into openings to the primary fluid flow path and which are rounded along the direction through such openings. The pressure drop, along the primary fluid flow path, to create flow through the sensor conduit, is provided by a fluid flow restrictor having a core and having lengths of wire along the core which are squeezed between the core and a tapered fluid flow path wall in the vicinity of the sensor conduit input and output connections. A spherical or a conical shape may be used for the form of the core. A valve seat bushing is mounted in pipe structure providing the primary fluid flow path by applying a force against an end surface of the bushing, with movement of the bushing blocked, in order to deform the end surface, push the outer wall of the bushing against the inner wall of the pipe structure, and fix the bushing in the pipe structure.

The counter is activated by a switch carried on the activator that initiates a timer when the activator leaves the dispensing position. The timer is reset if the activator is returned to the dispensing position prior to the predetermined period of time elapsing. Only after elapse of this period of time can the counter be activated again.

The housing is divided between the inlet and the outlet by a partition wall through which a measuring tube with a rectangular cross-section passes. Gas flows through the measuring tube, through which ultrasonic pulses are simultaneously transmitted by transducers disposed on the end walls. The flow rate of the gas is determined from the difference in the time of flight of the bidirectional sound pulses. The gas is directed into the measuring tube through two guidance ducts which run along both longitudinal sides of the measuring tube.
