摘要: A method for acquiring agricultural data using a UAV is provided. In several embodiments, the method includes receiving data associated with a data collection point located within a field and controlling an operation of the UAV such that the UAV is flown over the field and lands in the field at the data collection point. In such an embodiment, the method includes capturing field condition data associated with the field using a sensing device supported by the UAV. The field condition data is captured by the sensing device while the UAV is maintained in a landed condition at the data collection point.

摘要: A pressure sensor includes a conductive substrate, a ring-shaped spacer, an inner spacer and a sensing circuit substrate. The conductive substrate includes a conductive-substrate body and a conductive layer. The conductive layer is disposed on the conductive-substrate body. The ring-shaped spacer and the inner spacer are disposed on the conductive-substrate body. The sensing-circuit substrate, disposed on the ring-shaped spacer and the inner spacer, includes a circuit-substrate body, a first sensing circuit and a second sensing circuit. The first sensing circuit and the second sensing circuit are disposed on opposing sides of the circuit-substrate body, and a plurality of first finger circuits of the first sensing circuit and a plurality of second finger circuits of the second sensing circuit are interlaced. The first sensing circuit and the second sensing circuit are densely arranged at the center of the conductive layer and less densely arranged on both sides of the conductive layer.

摘要: A method for evaluating an entity's net worth via a plurality of smart sensors is provided. The method may include determining a range of base-line values for each characteristic associated with a plurality of physical assets. Each physical asset may be coupled to one of the smart sensors. The method may include monitoring periodically to determine a measurable characteristic value for each characteristic and comparing each measured characteristic value to a stored range of base-line values for the characteristic. When a change is detected and is outside the range of base-line values, the method may include transmitting the change from to an edge computing device and modifying a stored monetary base value of each physical asset based on the change. The method may further include generating a total net value of the plurality of physical assets by combining the modified monetary base value of each physical asset.

摘要: A method for monitoring air quality is described. The method includes measuring ethane and methane using a mobile sensor platform to provide sensor data. The sensor data includes methane data and ethane data captured at a nonzero mobile sensor platform speed. Methane and ethane peak(s) are identified in the sensor data. Correlation(s) between the methane and ethane peak(s) and/or between the methane peak(s) and at least one amount of 13C are determined. A source for the methane is determined based on the correlation.

摘要: Force-detecting sensors are installed in a motorcycle's handlebars, footpegs and seat to detect the rider's grip, weight and weight distribution. A control unit interprets the signals from the sensors to determine an attribute of the rider or an intention of the rider to make a manoeuvre. Signals from environmental sensors are used by the control unit to determine whether the intended manoeuvre would endanger the rider, and, if so, the rider is alerted before the manoeuvre is undertaken. The alert is provided before the rider notices the hazard, or before the rider reacts to the hazard. By giving advance warning, of as little as a fraction of a second, a rider is given extra time to avert a potential accident. The control unit also controls settings of the motorcycle during a hazardous state of the motorcycle.

摘要: It is presented a sensor device comprising: an environment sensor; a processor; a light sensor; a light source; a wireless communication module; and a memory. When the light sensor receives a light signal, the sensor device is configured to transition from a first functional state, in which wireless communication is inactivated, to a second functional state, in which wireless communication module is enabled. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the sensor device to modulate light from the light source to transmit an identifier of the sensor device.
