摘要： Connecting structures to mechanically connect to a connector receptacle tongue and a printed circuit board and to electrically connect contacts on the connector receptacle tongue to traces on the printed circuit board. One example may provide an interposer having a housing and a plurality of contacts to connect a vertical tongue to a horizontal printed circuit board. The contacts may have a side or tongue connecting portion extending beyond a side of the housing and a bottom or board contacting portion extending beyond a bottom of the housing. The contacts may form a ninety-degree bend. A shield may at least substantially surround a vertical side of the housing.

The plug connector comprises a plug with a plug casing, one or more electrical contact parts accommodated in the plug casing, a socket with a socket casing, and a protective housing at least partly encasing the plug casing and the socket casing. The protective housing comprises an attachment flange in a connection area reaching up to a counterpart connectable thereto. An engagement ridge of the protective housing is spaced apart from the attachment flange in the longitudinal direction L of the plug connector and at least positively engages in an engagement channel of the plug casing.

摘要： A waterproof connection apparatus for electronic equipment includes: an approximately tubular outer case; a supporting portion accommodated in a wall form on a deep side of the outer case; a contact terminal supported by the supporting portion and introduced in the outer case; and a circumferential sealing portion provided at a position between the outer case and the supporting portion to seal a space between the outer case and the supporting portion. The sealing portion formed of an elastic material is provided so as to protrude outward from a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the supporting portion and the sealing portion is pressure-contacted to an inner surface of the outer case in a circumferential form in a state of press-fitting the protruding portion. In this way, it is possible to reliably prevent water from entering into the deep side of the outer case and to decrease the length.

The connector having the spring contacts includes, before the spring contacts, positioning holes in which the pins are to be inserted. The tips of the pins come into contact with the spring contacts to make electrical connection. The bases of the pins fit in the positioning holes to perform positioning for optical connection. The optoelectrical connector can be smaller, lighter, and thinner.

摘要： Integrated signal pair elements are disclosed that can be inserted into and removed from a backplane connector housing as a single piece. Each element includes an insulative frame that supports a pair of conductive terminals in a spaced-apart arrangement. The frame is attached to a ground shield that provides a ground plane that extends around three sides of the signal pair. Cable wires can be terminated to tail portions of the signal pair and an insulative material is molded over the cable wire termination area to form an integrated signal pair element. The individual signal pair elements may also be commoned together in a linear array of signal pair elements by a commoning member that contacts the ground shields of the array of signal pair elements.

A connector may be adapted such that a moveable magnet may move between an engaged position proximate a contacting surface of the connector and a disengaged position recessed from a contacting surface, wherein the moveable magnet is biased to the disengaged position.
