    摘要: A waterproof connection apparatus for electronic equipment includes: an approximately tubular outer case; a supporting portion accommodated in a wall form on a deep side of the outer case; a contact terminal supported by the supporting portion and introduced in the outer case; and a circumferential sealing portion provided at a position between the outer case and the supporting portion to seal a space between the outer case and the supporting portion. The sealing portion formed of an elastic material is provided so as to protrude outward from a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the supporting portion and the sealing portion is pressure-contacted to an inner surface of the outer case in a circumferential form in a state of press-fitting the protruding portion. In this way, it is possible to reliably prevent water from entering into the deep side of the outer case and to decrease the length.

In one embodiment, an apparatus for connection to a light adjustment sheet include a power source interface configured to be connected to a power source and a sheet interface electrically connected to the power source interface. The sheet interface is configured to connect to the light adjustment sheet such that electricity can be conducted from the power source interface to the light adjustment sheet to switch the light adjustment sheet between different visibility states. Other embodiments are also described.

    摘要: Integrated signal pair elements are disclosed that can be inserted into and removed from a backplane connector housing as a single piece. Each element includes an insulative frame that supports a pair of conductive terminals in a spaced-apart arrangement. The frame is attached to a ground shield that provides a ground plane that extends around three sides of the signal pair. Cable wires can be terminated to tail portions of the signal pair and an insulative material is molded over the cable wire termination area to form an integrated signal pair element. The individual signal pair elements may also be commoned together in a linear array of signal pair elements by a commoning member that contacts the ground shields of the array of signal pair elements.

    摘要: There is disclosed magnetic connectors and electronic devices including such connectors. A connector may include a magnet rotatable about at least one axis of the magnet; wherein the magnet rotates to magnetically engage a magnet of another connector to form an electrical connection between the two magnets. A connector may also include a cylindrical magnet to magnetically engage a magnet of another connector; and a sleeve wrapped around at least part of the magnet, the sleeve comprising a contact for forming an electrical connection with a contact on the other connector. A connector may be adapted for selective connection with other connectors. A connector may be adapted such that a moveable magnet may move between an engaged position proximate a contacting surface of the connector and a disengaged position recessed from a contacting surface, wherein the moveable magnet is biased to the disengaged position.
