摘要: An electroactive material for an electrochemical cell includes one or more conductive oxygen storage material coatings or layers. The electroactive material includes a plurality of electroactive material particles disposed to form an electroactive material layer. In certain variations, at least a portion of the plurality of electroactive material particles may have a coating that includes a conductive oxygen storage material. In other variations, a conductive oxygen storage material layer may be disposed on one or more surfaces of the electroactive material layer. In still other variations, at least a portion of the plurality of electroactive material particles may have a coating that includes a conductive oxygen storage material, and a conductive oxygen storage material layer may be disposed on one or more surfaces of the electroactive material layer. The one or more conductive oxygen storage material coatings or layers may help to improve the thermal stability of the electroactive materials.

摘要: A stackable battery module mounting system includes a side wall structure and a plurality of cross members extending between opposite sides of the side wall structure, the plurality of cross members each having a plurality of first spaced apertures. A plurality of battery modules each include a face plate on opposite sides thereof and each face plate includes a plurality of protruding sections which nest with protruding sections of the face plate of adjacent battery modules. At least some of the protruding sections include second apertures aligned with a respective one of the first spaced apertures of the plurality of cross members. A plurality of bolts are received in corresponding ones of the second apertures of the plurality of battery modules and the first spaced apertures in the plurality of cross members for securing the plurality of battery modules to the plurality of cross members.

摘要: A system for optimizing traffic signal timing using telemetry includes: wirelessly connected devices (WCDs), traffic operations centers (TOCs) controlling one or more traffic signals, and control modules storing and continuously executing control logic in a closed loop. The control logic continuously receives real-time WCD telemetry data and performs real-time processing of the telemetry data to match the telemetry data to physical locations. Processed telemetry data is aggregated to determine WCD trajectories. The system selectively performs time-of-day (TOD), offset, and green split optimizations, and receives the WCD trajectories and outputs of the TOD, offset, and green split optimization within an API. The system generates an optimized signal plan from data from the API, and verifies the optimized signal plan. The optimized signal plan is received by the TOCs and selectively uploaded to the traffic signals. The optimized signal plan increases throughput of traffic by decreasing total delays, and quantities of stops.

摘要: A positive electrode material for an electrochemical cell that cycles lithium ions includes a high-valent doped layered lithium- and manganese-rich nickel oxide (HVD-LMR). The high-valent dopant is a transition metal element having five or more valence electrons. The HVD-LMR positive electrode material may be manufactured by a sol-gel method, wherein a precursor solution is prepared comprising a lithium salt, a manganese salt, a nickel salt, a compound comprising the high-valent dopant, and a chelating agent. The pH of the precursor solution is controlled or adjusted to form a gel comprising a liquid phase and a solid precipitate phase, and then the liquid phase from the solid precipitate phase to form a dried gel. The dried gel is heated in an oxygen-containing environment to form the HVD-LMR positive electrode material.

摘要: A vehicle having a first aid kit having a plurality of content items is provided. The vehicle also includes one or more impact sensors and a controller. The controller is configured to detect, using the impact sensors, a collision involving the vehicle and activate a door of the first aid kit to expose the plurality of content items to an interior of the vehicle and activating an indicator disposed on the first aid kit based on a determination that a force of the collision exceeds a first threshold value. Based on a determination that the force of the collision exceeds a second threshold value and is less than the first threshold value, the controller is configured to activate the indicator disposed on the first aid kit.
