摘要: A system for sharing sensor data between a vehicle and a plurality of remote system generally includes a vehicle communication system, a three-dimensional (3D) sensor, and a controller. The controller is programmed to generate an initial 3D point cloud using the 3D sensor, generate an occupancy grid map based on the initial 3D point cloud, and select a producer remote system to provide data for a cell of the occupancy grid map classified as a first blindspot. The controller is further programmed to send a data request to the producer remote system using the vehicle communication system, receive data from the producer remote system including information about the cell of the occupancy grid map classified as the first blindspot, generate a merged 3D point cloud by merging the data received from the producer remote system with the initial 3D point cloud, and identify objects using the merged 3D point cloud.

摘要: A hybrid positioning system for a vehicle includes one or more controllers in wireless communication with a plurality of surrounding vehicles located in an environment surrounding the vehicle and a cellular software defined network including an edge positioning function. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive, from the plurality of surrounding vehicles, relative position measurements that are each indicative of a position of one of the plurality of surrounding vehicles relative to the vehicle, wherein the relative position measurements are received by the one or more controllers in real-time. The one or more controllers receive a precise global position of the vehicle and the plurality of surrounding vehicles from the edge positioning function of the cellular software defined network, and fuse together the relative position measurements and the precise global position of the vehicle to determine a precise position of the vehicle.

摘要: A system for optimizing traffic signal timing using telemetry includes: wirelessly connected devices (WCDs), traffic operations centers (TOCs) controlling one or more traffic signals, and control modules storing and continuously executing control logic in a closed loop. The control logic continuously receives real-time WCD telemetry data and performs real-time processing of the telemetry data to match the telemetry data to physical locations. Processed telemetry data is aggregated to determine WCD trajectories. The system selectively performs time-of-day (TOD), offset, and green split optimizations, and receives the WCD trajectories and outputs of the TOD, offset, and green split optimization within an API. The system generates an optimized signal plan from data from the API, and verifies the optimized signal plan. The optimized signal plan is received by the TOCs and selectively uploaded to the traffic signals. The optimized signal plan increases throughput of traffic by decreasing total delays, and quantities of stops.

The method further includes determining an amount of time that the host vehicle will spend in the bad network coverage zone, determining an amount of application data to cache as a function of the amount of time that the host vehicle will spend in the bad network coverage zone, and caching the amount of application data before the host vehicle reaches the bad network coverage zone.

摘要: A system for real-time video streaming for a vehicle includes a camera system configured to capture videos of an environment surrounding the vehicle. The system also includes a vehicle communication system configured to communicate with a remote server and a vehicle controller in electrical communication with the camera system and the vehicle communication system. The vehicle controller is programmed to determine a system enablement state. The vehicle controller is further programmed to determine a camera system configuration in response to determining that the system enablement state is a system enabled state. The vehicle controller is further programmed to capture at least one video frame using the camera system based at least in part on the camera system configuration. The vehicle controller is further programmed to transmit the at least one video frame to the remote server using the vehicle communication system.

摘要: A system, method and server for a controlling a relation between a vehicle and traffic flow over a road segment. The system includes a telemetric device of the vehicle and a processor of the server. The telemetric device obtains telemetric data related to the road segment being traversed by the vehicle. The processor determines a property of the road segment based on the telemetric data and a road profile for the road segment, determines a disruption score indicative of a level of disruption in the traffic flow for the road segment based on the property, and outputs a notification signal when the disruption score is above a selected disruption threshold. The notification signal is usable for controlling the relation between the vehicle and the traffic flow.
