    摘要: An optical sheet for a backlight is provided on a surface light source in the backlight. An optical reflection layer has a plurality of through grooves formed on a transparent substrate and arranged at a prescribed interval. The width of the through hole is narrowed from the upper surface opening to the lower surface opening. Each of the cylindrical lenses is filled within a corresponding through groove, and its surface is a cylindrical surface that covers the upper surface opening of the through groove. Light from the light source comes in only from the lower surface opening, so that the angle of incidence of light when the light reaches the cylindrical surface can be controlled, and an increased amount of light deflected toward the front surface can be emitted. Therefore, the optical sheet for a backlight can collect light from the surface light source in the front surface direction.

The disk cartridge of the present invention comprises an upper case and a lower case. Each of the upper case and the lower case is formed to be substantially circular. The disk cartridge is opened/closed by rotating the upper case relative to the lower case about a base point of a movable section which is provided for the upper case and/or the lower case. An information-recording disk is accommodated and removed in a state in which the disk cartridge is open. The disk cartridge further comprises an engaging section for engaging the upper case and the lower case with each other and an opening for exposing a central portion and an information-recording surface of the information-recording disk, the opening being formed at least on surfaces of the upper case and the lower case.

A large reproduction signal is obtained from the magnified magnetic domain 419, and the minute magnetic domain can be subjected to reproduction at a high resolving power and at a high S/N ratio. The magnified magnetic domain 419 is reduced by using a reducing reproducing magnetic field 415 of the alternating magnetic field. The gate layer 17 has a thickness which is not less than a thickness of a magnetic wall of the magnetic domain. A non-magnetic layer may be used in place of the gate layer 17.

    摘要: Learning marks are recorded in a learning region preceding a data recording region of the track. The positions of information recording lattice points are staggered by one lattice point between two contiguous tracks. At reading of recorded information, a two-dimensional information leakage amount is detected by the reproduced signals from a learning mark preceding a target information recording lattice point on a track, and from the information recording lattice points immediately before and after the learning mark in question. The equalization coefficients are calculated from leakage amount thus obtained. The crosstalk present in a reproduced signal for the target lattice point is removed by using this equalization coefficients and a pair of reproduced signals from intermediate lattice points which are located immediately before and after the current lattice point and which are not used to record information marks. Inter-symbol interference left in the crosstalk-removed reproduced signal is further removed by use of the reproduced signals from a plurality of information recording lattice points which are located immediately before and after the target lattice point.

    摘要: Scratches on the recording disk caused by sliding of a disk cartridge shutter is prevented by slidably inserting first and second shutters between a tray and a case on the opposite side to a recording disk accommodating portion of the tray. The first shutter simultaneously opens and closes a case side driving shaft insert hole, a case side head insert hole, a tray side driving shaft insert hole, and a tray side head insert hole. The second shutter opens and closes a terminal hole. The second shutter is opened independently of the first shutter and is held in a position so that the case side driving shaft insert hole, the case side head insert hole, the tray side driving shaft insert hole, and the tray side head insert hole are not closed. Closing the first shutter, however, causes the second shutter to also close.
