摘要: An internal-combustion engine with a device for adjusting the rotational angle (camshaft adjuster (1)) of a camshaft (2) relative to a crankshaft is provided. The device comprises a driving wheel (3) connected in a rotationally locked way to the crankshaft, a driven part (6) connected in a rotationally locked way to the camshaft (2), and an adjusting mechanism, with which the phase position between the crankshaft and camshaft (2) can be set and maintained in a certain range of angles. A reduction of the required axial structural space of the camshaft adjuster (1) and the number of individual parts is achieved in that the driven part (6) is fixed to the camshaft (2) with a frictional, positive-fit, or interference-fit connection.

摘要: A switchable valve drive element of an internal combustion engine can be actuated hydraulically. A valve tappet which can be displaced axially in a bore of the machine housing by the cam of a camshaft. A switching duct adjoins the valve tappet and is filled with a hydraulic oil. A connection on the valve drive element between the switching duct and a space with a lower pressure level compared to the pressure in the switching duct. The connection can be produced between the switching duct and the space with a lower pressure level by means of the valve tappet. The space may be inside the tappet.

摘要: A bearing arrangement for supporting a universal joint trunnion in an outer cup includes a radial bearing having cylindrical rolling elements disposed between the trunnion and the outer cup, and a resistance member made of a material to allow elastic deformation and bearing upon a confronting surface area of an end surface of the trunnion. The resistance member and the trunnion are hereby so configured either alone or in combination as to form a large lubricant reservoir. Disposed at a distance to the end surface of the trunnion is a stop member to define an axial gap, whereby the stop member inhibits an axial movement of the trunnion after the trunnion has moved in axial direction to close the gap.

The control structure includes a controller which processes measuring signals of the internal combustion engine to control data for the adjusting motor. A controller which has meaningful values for the adjusted setpoint rotational speed of the adjusting motor, even when the input differential signal has a zero value, is obtained by applying the signal of an uncontrolled rotational speed to the output signal of a controlled setpoint rotational speed.
