In one embodiment, the dielectric fibers may be formed from a thermoplastic polymer, and particularly polyolefin and the non-dielectric fibers may be formed from cellulose, and particularly wood pulp.

摘要： Flexography basically is a relief printing process similar in many respects to letterpress but using fluid, fast drying inks, rubber plates, rotary presses and being commonly web fed. The rubber plates are supported on a plate cylinder usually by a fabric material carrying adhesive on its opposed major faces. Such fabric is advantageously replaced by a resilient compressible flexible composite which provides for maintaining the conformability of the usual printing plate to the work to be printed while sufficiently minimizing plate distortion as to avoid poor quality printing. The composite is compressible without significant lateral spreading and is of uniform thickness overall, suitably exhibiting a tolerance not in excess of plus or minus 0.003 inch and preferably plus or minus about 0.001 inch.

摘要： The combination of a single fold tampon capable of being mechanically spread open by the user after insertion to form a transverse block within the vagina, and an inserter-spreader therefor. The tampon is folded in half to form two adjoining legs. A withdrawal string is attached at the fold. The outer extremity of the upper end portion of each leg is provided with a downwardly facing pocket. The inserter-spreader is provided with a pair of arms which fit into the pockets and may be operated by the user to mechanically spread apart the legs of the tampon within the vagina after insertion.

摘要： Absorbent paper sheets in multi-ply web form in which the outer webs of the sheet are creped and consist of a series of ribs and grooves. The webs have their ribs secured together by adhesive dispersed in a pattern consisting of individual adhesive zones. The adhesive zones are obtained by providing in embossing apparatus cooperable rolls each having alternating ribs and grooves, the ribs of one roll being provided with protuberances and the other with recesses. The protuberances cover a relatively small area of the total rib area and carry a web on the protuberances through an adhesive applicator so that a relatively small area of the web receives adhesive for attachment to a second web.

摘要： A pressure-sensitive closure assistance system and method particularly useful in connection with surgical gowns requiring a sterile surface on the back of the gown. The closure may comprise a snap fastener or other pressure-sensitive closure such as those comprised of tapes or hook and loop type elements. In accordance with the invention, a cover made of paper or the like encloses a closure element, and an assistant who need not be sterile-gloved may grasp a folded edge of the cover. The overlap is then drawn across the back exposing the closure elements which are pressed through the cover to ensure contact between the closure elements. The assistant then may detach the closure assistance tab and discard it. Thus, no part of the back of the gown is required to come in contact with an element which has not been sterilized.
