摘要： A wireless handset, electronic device, and method for associating a text-based file identifier with a captured image using a voice recognition module are presented. The wireless handset or electronic device includes a camera, a memory, a microphone, a processor and a means for associating the text-based file identifier with the image that was captured by the camera. The memory stores the plurality of images captured by the camera. The microphone receives a plurality of voice messages. The processor records the voice messages and converts the voice message to a text-based file identifier at approximately the same time as when the image was captured by the camera.

摘要： Systems and methods for remote control of a wireless communication device are provided. Remote access to a wireless communication device is obtained through a packet switched mobile terminated data call. The data call can also be originated from the wireless communication device. Authentication and validation procedures facilitate secure remote control access to the wireless communication device by one or more remote control access points. Once a remote control access session has been established, the remote control access point can execute commands on the wireless communication device, including initiating voice calls and scheduling future commands. Additionally, an audio-video teleconference can be initiated using streaming video and voice over IP.

摘要： An apparatus, system, and method provide device identification and temperature sensing of a device with a temperature sensing circuit (TSC) within the device. The TSC includes a temperature sensing element (TSE) connected in parallel with a voltage clamping network (VCN) that limits the voltage across the TSE to an identification voltage within an identification voltage range when the voltage is greater than or equal to a lower voltage of the identification voltage range. When a voltage below the lower range is applied to the TSC, the VCN appears as an open circuit and the resistance of the TSC corresponds to temperature. For cost or other concerns, a first TSC may omit the VCN to provide a maximum identification voltage and other TSCs may include VCNs with lower identification voltage ranges.

摘要： An inverted-F ferroelectric antenna is provided. The antenna comprises a counterpoise, or groundplane, and an inverted-F structure radiator having a first end connected to the counterpoise. A fixed dielectric material, typically a ceramic or air separates the radiator and the counterpoise. A capacitor, formed from a ferroelectric dielectric is connected between the second end of the radiator and the counterpoise. The capacitor has a variable dielectric constant, and the antenna is resonant at a frequency responsive to the dielectric constant of the capacitor ferroelectric material. Typically, the capacitor includes a dielectric formed from a fixed constant dielectric, together with a ferroelectric dielectric with a variable dielectric constant. A bias voltage feed is used to apply a voltage to the capacitor ferroelectric dielectric. The ferroelectric dielectric has a dielectric constant that varies in response to the applied voltage. In one aspect of the antenna, the capacitor has a capacitance of approximately 0.35 picofarads (pF) at zero volts of bias voltage and a capacitance of approximately 0.29 pf at 40 volts of bias voltage.
