摘要: A valve seat puller head assembly is comprised of seat puller head halves and springs. The seat puller head halves come together forming an opening. A pair of spring clips hold and secure the seat puller head halves together providing the outward force required to pre-position the tool (i.e., seat valve puller head assembly) in proper area for valve seat removal. In one embodiment, the valve seat puller head assembly further comprises an allthread having a tapered buttress engaged with the valve seat puller head via the opening of the valve seat puller head, eliminating thread clearance there between and greatly reducing the shear pressure at a root initiation area. In an alternative embodiment, a subzero temperature glycol solution within a portion of the valve seat puller head is circulated to “cold pull” heat from the valve seat puller head assembly and the valve seat which is in contact therewith.

摘要: A gate opener assembly is comprised of a gate and an anchor assembly having a platform. A plurality of track assemblies on the platform provide a track on which the gate may slide from a first position (closed) to a second position (open) and any position in between. A guidepost having a “Shepherd's hook” configuration guides the gate as the gate passes therethrough. A pair of rollers within the interior of the top of the guidepost makes continuous contact with each side of the top of the gate both while the gate is stationary and in motion. A gate opener controller contains the required electrical connections to fully the operate gate opener assembly. Subterrain anchor supports provide the necessary support for the gate opener assembly. An alternative embodiment accommodates nontraditional configured gates. Installation of the gate opener assembly is performed by do-it-yourselfers in minimal time.

摘要: A trigger assembly apparatus for a firearm which allows adjustment of the pre-travel distance a trigger travels before initiating a firing sequence and method of making the pre-travel adjustment using the apparatus disclosed herein. The apparatus generally comprises a trigger and a trigger bow, with the trigger bow having at least one threaded receptacle in a front lateral portion thereof. The pre-travel adjustment can be achieved by rotating a threaded fastener within the threaded receptacle and the method of adjusting the pre-travel can be accomplished without complete disassembly of the firearm.

摘要: An elastomeric device for improving the erection of the human penis may include a frustoconical collar sized to receive and snugly jacket the user's penis and apply effective pressure on the dorsal penile veins, and a radially extending pubic shield adapted to overlay the pubic area of the user. An elastic strap attached to the pubic shield may encircle the underside of the scrotum to apply effective pressure on the deep veins behind the scrotum and to retain the device on the user's penis during sexual activity. When used in combination with a conventional vacuum erection device, substantially airtight seals are established around the open end of the vacuum device, the base of the penis, and the anterior sealing surface of the pubic shield during evacuation pumping. Related methods are also described.

摘要: A large diameter injection water well is drilled using a drilling derrick and rotary drilling techniques. After snubbing in and drilling a short distance with drilling mud, a temporary drilling header is installed below the blowout preventers. Extending downward from the temporary drilling header is a drop pipe with a valve on the lower end thereof. Drilling pipe with attachments on the lower end thereof, are lowered into the drop pipe with the valve closed. After sealing to the drilling pipe, the valve is opened and the drilling pipe and attachments are lowered to the bottom of the well for the normal drilling operation. Thereafter, the drilling pipe and attachments are removed reversing the process of retracting into the drop pipe and closing the valve before removing the seal from the drilling pipe. The repeated insertion of the drilling pipe with various attachments on the end thereof in the drilling procedure occurs without having to kill or suppress the well until the final step when removing the drop pipe. Large diameter drillable centering guides insures pilot holes are being drilled in the bottom center of the large diameter injection water well.

摘要: A platform is described for analyzing assessment data, including correlating assessment data with learning outcome data, and presenting analysis results through one or more interactive dashboards. A course syllabus and/or other course described information is analyzed to identify expected target outcomes to be achieved by students of the course, and to identify a relative weight of each of the various target outcomes based on their coverage in the syllabus. Assessment data describing a digitally administered assessment is analyzed to identify the categories that are assessed in the various questions of the test. The target outcomes are compared to the assessed categories to determine the extent to which the assessment is assessing each of the target outcomes, the degree of correspondence between the distribution of assessed categories and the distribution of target outcomes, and whether any gaps are present indicating that certain target outcomes are going unassessed or are insufficiently assessed.

摘要: An optical energy transfer and conversion system comprising a fiber spooler and an electrical power extraction subsystem connected to the spooler with an optical waveguide. Optical energy is generated at and transferred from a base station through fiber wrapped around the spooler, and ultimately to the power extraction system at a remote mobility platform for conversion to another form of energy. The fiber spooler may reside on the remote mobility platform which may be a vehicle, or apparatus that is either self-propelled or is carried by a secondary mobility platform either on land, under the sea, in the air or in space.
