摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a mechanism for flexible control information reporting within a wireless communication network by mapping a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes to respective locations in a payload format of an uplink control channel. In response to receiving a request to transmit acknowledgment information corresponding to one or more selected HARQ processes, the acknowledgment information corresponding to the one or more selected HARQ processes may be included in the respective locations of the payload of a current uplink control channel based on the mapping. A remaining portion of the payload of the current uplink control channel may be flexibly utilized for other control information.

摘要: Aspects of disclosure relate to dynamically modifying a synchronization signal block (SSB) beam configuration in a wireless communication system. In an aspect, a UE receives, from a base station, a first message triggering the UE to measure a signal strength of SSB beams transmitted from the base station. The UE then sends, to the base station, a second message including a report of the signal strength of the SSB beams and receives, from the base station, a third message indicating at least an SSB beam of the SSB beams or a quasi-colocation (QCL) type to use based on the report. The UE then establishes a connection with the base station using an indicated SSB beam or QCL type.

摘要: Aspects of disclosure relate to a UE reporting to a gNB time delays and phases of pilot signals received via multiple transmission paths in order for the gNB to pre-equalize a future transmission to the UE. The UE determines a first time delay for receiving a first pilot signal from a gNB via a first path, determines a second time delay for receiving a second pilot signal from the gNB via a second path, and generates a report based on the first time delay and the second time delay. The UE then sends the report to the gNB and receives a multi-TRP signal from the gNB via the first path and the second path, wherein the multi-TRP signal is pre-equalized for transmission based on the report to at least have a same time delay as a shorter one of the first time delay or the second time delay.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to methods and apparatus of time-domain multiplexing (TDM) for reference signals (RS) and data using a modified cyclic prefix. A reference signal (RS) and data are multiplexed either in a single symbol or in two time consecutive symbols that respectively including the RS and data. The cyclic prefix (CP) is added to the single symbol using a portion of the RS or to a first symbol of the two time consecutive symbols using a portion of the RS. The CP may be copied from the RS or the end of the symbol, but not the data, in a manner that affords a virtual Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) of the RS and data before discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading is performed in a transceiver to provide lower peak to average power ratios and no Inter-symbol interference.

The frame-based channel access mode may use a fixed frame period that includes an initial sensing period for beam-based sensing and an idle period at the end of the frame to facilitate spectrum sharing.
