One implementation involves concurrency testing within a model-based software system testing environment, by receiving concurrent test service requests; duplicating a model representing software under test, based on the number of requests; sending the concurrent requests to each of the duplicated models sequentially but in different orders; storing the outcomes of each of the models; comparing the outcomes from the models to the outcome from the software system under test; and if all comparisons fail, then indicating test failure.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for video sample interpolation with edge sharpening, whereby edge sharpness can be essentially preserved and/or enhanced in the interpolated image. Image interpolation for an original two dimensional image is conducted along the horizontal and vertical directions separately using a 1D digital filter. In interpolating a new sample in the image, the digital filter is first used to obtain a temporary interpolation value for the new sample. Then, an appropriate amount of edge enhancement is calculated for the new sample location. The enhancement value is combined with the temporary interpolation value to result in a final interpolation value for the new sample.

    摘要: A method is provided for enhancing the details of an image while suppressing or preventing shoots that would otherwise occur during a prior art enhancement process. The enhancing method is based on recognizing that Shoots are likely to occur at edges of an image to be enhanced, and therefore, if the enhancement is sufficiently reduced or even possibly eliminated at the edges of the image, the Shoots that would otherwise occur will be suppressed or even possibly eliminated. A gain suppressing function is used to attenuate the enhancement at the edges of the image. Preferably, the gain suppressing function inherently identifies the edges of the image to be enhanced.

    摘要: A suppression method that provides adaptive (i.e., selective) processing of an input picture to generate an enhanced output picture with ringing-like areas of the input picture suppressed. For each such window in the input picture, if the window is detected as around a ringing-like area in the picture, then the output pixel for the position of the window comprises the low-pass filtered (i.e., smoothed) pixel in the input picture. However, if the window is not detected as around a ringing-like area (i.e., the window is around a non-ringing-like area) then the output pixel for the position of the window comprises essentially the unchanged window in the input picture. As a result no blurring is introduced into the input picture in areas where ringing-like patterns are not detected. Therefore, the output picture includes portions of the input picture in which ringing-like patterns were not detected, and portions of the input picture with suppressed ringing-like patterns where detected. The output picture is an enhanced version of the input picture with suppressed (i.e., smoothed) ringing-like patterns.

    摘要: A high power, low loss RF strip transmission line coupling structure is provided. It includes a multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB), a top cover and a bottom cover. The top and bottom covers provide the ground reference for the strip transmission line coupling structure. The PCB is fastened to the top and bottom covers and is used for: creating the center conductor of an air dielectric strip transmission line and edge coupler; providing a means to transition from microstrip to air dielectric strip transmission line; supporting the air dielectric strip transmission line; routing of other signals; and passing ground to the top and bottom covers. To create an air dielectric strip transmission line, the PCB material is adequately removed to effectively form a rectangular bar of dielectric and metal layers. This rectangular bar is plated along the edges where the PCB material was removed to ensure that the top and bottom PCB metal layers are at the same potential.

    摘要: A system for tomographic imaging includes a source of at least partially coherent radiation, a frequency-swept laser source and an interferometer. The radiation in the interferometer is phase modulated at a modulation frequency for elimination of DC and autocorrelation noises as well as the mirror image. The interference fringes of the radiation backscattered from the sample into the interferometer are detected to obtain a spectral signal. The spectral signal of the detected backscattered interference fringes is transformed to obtain a location dependent signal at each pixel location in a data window. A tomographic image of the fluid flow in the data window is generated for display and of the structure of the scanned fluid flow sample in the data window from the location dependent signal is generated.
