According to one embodiment, a battery module includes a battery unit. The battery unit includes a nonaqueous lithium ion battery including a nonaqueous electrolyte, and an aqueous lithium ion battery including an electrolytic solution in which an electrolyte is dissolved in an aqueous solvent. In the battery unit, the aqueous lithium ion battery is connected in parallel to the nonaqueous lithium ion battery.

An imaging device includes: a sensor unit that is arranged at a predetermined position inside a casing, and that images a subject outside the casing through an opening portion, with a part of an imaging region, while imaging a reference chart with another part of the imaging region; and a light absorption member that is arranged in an optical path of light from a illumination light source toward a specular-reflection position from which specular-reflection light of the illumination light source is entered to the sensor unit, in the imaging range. The light absorption member has at least a first surface on which light from the illumination light source toward the specular-reflection position is irradiated, and a second surface that faces to the first surface, and reflected light that has been reflected on the first surface and then on the second surface is further directed toward the first surface.

A process of manufacturing a three-dimensional object includes a step of depositing and solidifying molten polyvinyl alcohol to form a support structure; and a step of depositing and solidifying a molten thermoplastic polymer on the support structure to form a three-dimensional preform. The support structure has a mixture of at least 50% by weight of polyvinyl alcohol and at most 50% by weight of at least one polymer of polyvinyl butyral, polylactid acid, ethylene-vinylalcohol-vinylacetate terpolymer, vinyl acetate-vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer, polycaprolactone, vinyl acetate-vinyl caprolactame copolymer, and polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of hydrolysis DH of 30-65%. The support structure can be dissolved to form the three-dimensional object.

A method estimates a duration of a battery performance rehabilitation phase. The method includes activating the battery performance rehabilitation phase when a power available in a battery is below a required minimum power level. The method also includes supplying a model of operation of the battery including, in a plane (BSOC, T) where BSOC denotes a state of charge of the battery and where T denotes a battery temperature, an isopower curve representing operating points of the battery enabling the battery to substantially deliver the required minimum power level, the curve separating operating points making it possible to deliver a power level above the required minimum power level from operating points enabling the battery to deliver only a power level below the required minimum power level. The method also includes estimating the duration of the battery performance rehabilitation phase from the model of operation supplied.

When power failure of an AC power source occurs during an eco-mode in which AC power is supplied via a bypass switch, an uninterruptible power source is configured to change over to inverter power supply in which AC power is supplied from an inverter. When turning off the bypass switch during power failure, a power conversion controller is configured to (i) control the converter to invert the DC power output by the battery into AC power and output the AC power to a node, and (ii) control the inverter to invert the DC power output by the battery into AC power and output the AC power to an output terminal. The power conversion controller controls the converter and the inverter such that phase and magnitude of an AC voltage output to the node become equal to phase and magnitude of an AC voltage output to output terminal.
