摘要: A method includes acquiring, by a managing unit of a dispersed storage network (DSN), storage unit status information and data object storage status information from a plurality of storage units of DSN memory of the DSN. The method further includes determining, by the managing unit, DSN status information of the DSN memory based on the storage unit status information and the data object storage status information. The method further includes identifying, by the managing unit, DSN memory issues within the DSN memory. The method further includes prioritizing, by the managing unit, corrective remedies for the DSN memory issues based on the status information of the DSN memory. The method further includes facilitating, by the managing unit, the execution of the prioritized corrective remedies to correct the DSN memory issues.

摘要: A biometric authentication device includes a biometric information sensor to read biometric information of a user, a biometric information storage unit to pre-register biometric information of a registered person as registered biometric information for verification, a determination unit to determine whether or not a captured image captured by the biometric information sensor is suitable for biometric authentication, and to perform biometric authentication by comparing the captured image to the registered biometric information registered in the biometric information storage unit when the determination unit determines that the captured image is suitable for the biometric authentication, and a notification unit to issue a notification indicating that the captured image is unsuitable for the biometric authentication. When the determination unit determines that the captured image is unsuitable for the biometric authentication, the determination unit does not perform the biometric authentication by the authentication unit and causes the notification unit to issue the notification.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes: receiving first sensor data related to a first user; determining locations visited by the first user based on the first sensor data; determining objects with which the first user has interacted based on the first sensor data; determining communication style information of the first user based on the first sensor data; categorizing the determined locations, the determined objects, and the determined communication style information; comparing the categorized determined locations to categorized locations of a second user; comparing the categorized determined objects to categorized objects with which the second user has interacted; comparing, by the computer device, the categorized determined communication style information to categorized communication style information of the second user, the comparing resulting from the second user being within the predetermined distance from the first user; and suggesting to the first user a topic of conversation based on the comparing.

摘要: A method for execution by a storage unit of a dispersed storage network (DSN) includes receiving a data slice for storage. A first bin that includes the data slice is generated and stored in a first location of a memory device of the storage unit, and a bin pointer that includes a reference to the first location is generated. A revision of the data slice is later received, and a second bin that includes the revised data slice is generated and stored in a second location of the memory device. A modified bin pointer is generated by editing the bin pointer to include a reference to the second location. A back pointer that references the first location is generated in response to commencing writing of the revised data slice. The back pointer is deleted in response to determining that the revised data slice has reached a finalized write stage.

摘要: A method for providing active fall prevention assistance to a user. The method includes one or more computer processors mapping a work area where a user performs a plan of tasks. The method further includes determining a safety configuration related to the user and the task. The method further includes instructing an autonomous device to attach a first tether between a first anchor point and a safety harness secured to the user. The method further includes analyzing real-time images of the work area and the user while the user performs the task. The method further includes determining that the user is at risk of falling. The method further includes responding to determining that the user is at risk of falling by instructing the autonomous device to attach a second tether between a second anchor point and the safety harness secured to the user.

摘要: A vehicle brake control device including a wheel speed acquisition section, a wheel acceleration calculation section, an anti-lock brake control section, a bad road determination section, and a bad road amount setting section. The wheel acceleration calculation section calculates a first wheel acceleration and a second wheel acceleration. The bad road determination section determines that a running road surface is a bad road when the calculated first wheel acceleration is larger than a first boundary line where the first wheel acceleration increases as the second wheel acceleration is larger in an area where the first wheel acceleration is larger than the second wheel acceleration. The bad road amount setting section increases a bad road amount as the calculated first wheel acceleration is larger when it is determined that a running road surface is a bad road.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for constructing a plan for creating a cloud service. In one embodiment, a configurator receives a request for one or more services making up a cloud service, and a preliminary plan for the requested services is generated. A service provider determines that it is able to fulfill a requested service, and inserts a sub plan for fulfilling the requested service into the preliminary plan. A final plan is generated, which includes a sub plan from each service provider inserted into the preliminary plan.
