摘要: In an image processing apparatus, a controller determines using setting specification information whether all of a plurality of users is permitted to use all of a plurality of setting values for a setting category in response to receiving a registration instruction. The setting specification information specifies for each user at least one setting value that is permitted to use for an image process by the user. In response to determining that any of the plurality of users is not permitted to use all of the setting values for the setting category, the controller transmits to the server a registration request not including the plurality of setting values for the setting category. The controller controls, in response to receiving a function execution instruction from the server, an image processing unit to execute the image process in accordance with a setting including a setting value for the setting category.

摘要: In an example, a computer device may detect pressure applied to an input location on an input device. The computer device may identify at least one opened application. The computer device may determine an output location based on the input location, where the output location may be a location on a display of the computer device. The computer device may construct an object based on the identified opened applications and the output location. The computer device may output the object on the display at the output location. The computer device may receive a selection of an opened application via the object, where the selected opened application is among the identified opened applications. The computer device may output the selected opened application on the display of the computer device.

摘要: A method and an information handling system having a plurality of processors connected by a cross-processor network, where each of the plurality of processors preferably has a filter construct having an outgoing filter list that identifies logical partition identifications (LPIDs) that are exclusively assigned to that processor and/or an incoming filter list that identifies LPIDs on that processor and at least one additional processor in the system. In operation, if the LPID of the outgoing translation invalidation instruction is on the outgoing filter list, the address translation invalidation instruction is acknowledged on behalf of the system. If the LPID of the incoming invalidation instruction does not match any LPID on the incoming filter list, then the translation invalidation instruction is acknowledged, and if the LPID of the incoming invalidation instruction matches any LPID on the incoming filter list, then the invalidation instruction is sent into the respective processor.

摘要: The present invention is broadly directed to therapeutic molecules capable of inter alia modulating apoptosis in mammalian cells. The therapeutic molecules of the present invention encompass genetic sequences and chemical entities capable of regulating expression of a novel mammalian gene belonging to the bcl-2 family and which promotes cell survival. The therapeutic molecules of the present invention may have further utility in delaying cell cycle entry. In addition, the present invention extends to chemical entities capable of modulating activity and function of the translation product of said novel gene of the bcl-2 family. The present invention also extends to the translation product of the novel gene of the bcl-2 family and its use in, for example, therapy, diagnosis, antibody generation and as a screening tool for therapeutic molecules capable of modulating physiological cell death or survival and/or modulating cell cycle entry.

摘要: An example embodiment of the invention provides a computer-implemented method of clustering data. The method comprises performing, by a clustering module, an nth pass of clustering on data to produce a plurality of nth clusters. A cluster analysis module calculates a plurality of components of each of the nth clusters and de-weights a largest component of each of the nth clusters to produce a plurality of de-weighted nth clusters. The clustering module performs an n+1th pass of clustering on the plurality of de-weighted nth clusters to produce a plurality of n+1th clusters. The method may be reiterated.

摘要: A method of forming a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) containing device is provided in which a patterned sacrificial material is present atop a MTJ pillar that is located on a bottom electrode. A passivation material liner and a dielectric material portion laterally surround the MTJ pillar and the patterned sacrificial material. The patterned sacrificial material is removed from above the MTJ pillar and replaced with a top electrode. A seam is present in the top electrode. The method mitigates the possibility of depositing resputtered conductive metal particles on a sidewall of the MTJ pillar. Thus, improved device performance, in terms of a reduction in failure mode, can be obtained.
