摘要： A method of making a diatomaceous earth granulate may include spray-drying a suspension including particles of diatomaceous earth, a liquid medium, and a binder, wherein inorganic solids in the suspension include at least 80 wt % diatomaceous earth. The method may further include recovering a diatomaceous earth spray-dried granulate. A granular diatomaceous earth product obtained by the method may include substantially spherical granules, each having a shell including diatomaceous earth surrounding a hollow core. The product may be used as a filter aid or in filtration.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for securing a cylinder liner to a pump module. A tension body is disposed about the cylinder liner and attached to the pump module. A locking body engages the cylinder liner and is threaded to the tension body. A hydraulic load cell is removably attached to the tension body and includes a hydraulic ram arranged to impart a compressive load to the cylinder liner and a tension load in the tension body. The locking body can be adjusted axially to contact the cylinder liner and maintain the applied loads, which act as a pre-load to keep the cylinder liner in contact with the pump module.

The particulate kaolin particles may comprise calcined kaolin chosen from at least one of particulate soak calcined kaolin and particulate flash calcined kaolin. The rubber composition can comprise additional particulate fillers including those chosen from silica, carbon black, and other particulate fillers. Also disclosed herein is a process for producing such a composition, and the method of using a cured form of the composition in a rubber composition, such as a vehicle tire composition.

摘要： A method, system, and apparatus, for providing audio feedback regarding the operation of an aircraft. In one aspect, microphones are placed next to sound sources, which could be components of the aircraft. Audio inputs are received from the microphone and analyzed based on a psycho-acoustic model to provide settings, such as level, pan, and equalization, to an automatic mixer. The automatic mixer mixes the sounds based on the settings and provides audio output to the pilot of the aircraft. The pilot can then use the audio output to more effectively monitor the operations of the aircraft components, which might otherwise be difficult or impossible to hear.
