摘要: A transcatheter valve assembly includes a main body that defines a braided stent frame having a proximal end and a distal end and a graft material covering at least a portion of the braided stent frame. The graft material is coupled to the braided stent frame at each of the proximal end and the distal end. The braided stent frame is configured to modify a length and diameter thereof to fit a diameter of a patient. A medial portion defines one of an open facing surface that is positioned proximal the coronary arteries when the valve assembly is deployed, and a pair of conduits configured for receiving a stent to fluidly engage with the coronary arteries when the valve assembly is deployed. A valve housing is at the proximal end of the transcatheter valve assembly.

摘要: A heart valve assembly includes an inner frame comprising a graft covering housing a prosthetic heart valve. The graft covering extends around the prosthetic heart valve for providing sealing to the heart valve, an outer frame formed from a metallic material and defining a gridded configuration, and being secured to the graft covering by a plurality of stitches, and a sealing material positioned externally to the outer frame for providing sealing between the outer frame and a patient's anatomical wall to prevent paravalvular leaks. The sealing material includes a plurality of radially extending fibers that extend outwardly of the outer frame. The graft covering is made of polyester, polytetrafluoroethylene, expanded polytetrafluoroethylene, or a polymer.

摘要: A heart valve assembly includes an outer frame. The outer frame is formed from a metallic material and defines a gridded configuration. An inner frame houses a prosthetic heart valve. The inner frame is a graft covering extending around the prosthetic heart valve for providing sealing to the heart valve. The graft covering is one of polyester, PTFE, ePTFE, or a polymer. The outer frame is secured to the graft covering. The outer frame is secured to the graft covering by a plurality of stitches. A plurality of radially extending fibers extend from the graft covering and through the outer metallic frame to form a seal positioned outwardly of the outer frame. The fibers include strands of fibers that terminate in an end thereof outwardly of the outer frame.

摘要: A device for placement in the aortic arch of a patient is provided. The device includes a distal portion for being engageably received in an aortic arch of a patient beyond the left subclavian artery and a stent portion fluidly engaged with the distal portion, the stent portion being permeable and configured to span a portion of the aortic arches to which the brachiocephalic trunk, left common carotid artery, and left subclavian artery attach to the aortic arch. A diameter of the stent portion may be modified by translation of the proximal portion to thereby alter a length of the stent portion thus causing modification of the diameter of the stent portion to fit anatomical features of differing dimensions.

摘要: An intraluminal vascular prosthesis assembly, having a hollow cylindrical body with a first end and a second end is provided. The assembly includes, at its first end, a first vascular prosthesis portion, and at its second end, a second vascular prosthesis portion which has only a prosthesis material. The vascular prosthesis assembly has a stent portion which is provided between the first vascular prosthesis portion and the second vascular prosthesis portion, the stent portion being free of prosthesis material to allow fluid flow therethrough and received within the aortic arch and spanning the brachiocephalic artery, left common carotid artery, and left subclavian artery when placed within the aortic arch of a patient.
