    摘要: A current detecting device for detecting current flowing in a first electric wire arranged close to a second electric wire having a portion extending in a predetermined direction. The device comprises: a portion of the first electric wire extending at right angles to the second electric wire; a magnetic core arranged around the above portion of the first electric wire, the magnetic core having an axis thereof extending at right angles to the above portion of the second electric wire; and a magnetic-to-electric transducer associated with the magnetic core for generating an electric signal indicative of the intensity of a magnetic field generated around the above portion of the first electric wire by current flowing in the first electric wire.

    摘要: An air-fuel ratio control system for an internal combustion engine having a carburetor with a slow speed circuit, includes a feedback control means by which an air intake side secondary air is supplied to the carburetor, on the downstream side of the throttle valve, in response to a result of detection of air-fuel ratio in terms of the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas of the engine. Under a predetermined operating condition of the engine, the feedback control of the air-fuel ratio by means of the control of the air intake side secondary air is performed while the supply of the fuel through the slow speed circuit of the fuel supply system is controlled in response to the result of the detection of the air-fuel ratio. In a variation of the system, the supply of the fuel through the slow speed circuit is stopped during the predetermined operating condition of the engine.

    摘要: Apparatus for controlling exhaust gas recirculation in an internal combustion engine employs a first control valve in an exhaust gas recirculation passageway, a second control valve in an air conduit connecting the intake passage to atmosphere through selective restriction means, and a regulating valve responsive to differential vacuum intensities for actuating the control valves. The restriction means comprise a plurality of individual restrictions one or more of which are selectively put into operation depending upon engine operating parameters such as coolant temperature and driving speed.

    摘要: A method of detecting abnormality in an air-fuel ratio control system for an internal combustion engine, the air-fuel ratio control system having a proportional control valve arranged in an air supply passage for supplying secondary air therethrough to the engine and controlled in response to an output signal from an oxygen concentration sensor arranged in an exhaust system of the engine in a manner such that its valve opening varies in proportion to the magnitude of driving current supplied thereto. A circuit is provided which includes a first transistor, the proportional control valve, and a second transistor arranged in the order mentioned and serially connected with each other between a power source for supplying a predetermined voltage and ground. A value of voltage at a predetermined location in said circuit is sensed while the first and second transistors are in predetermined states of conduction and non-conduction. It is determined whether there is abnormality in the air-fuel ratio control system, on the basis of the sensed voltage value.

    摘要: The invention is provided with a load detecting means for detecting the value of an electric load connected to an electric generator driven by an internal combustion engine. An idling speed-up means stepwise increases an idling speed of the engine. A control means causes the idling speed-up means to operate when the detected value of the electric load continuously remains above a predetermined value for a predetermined length of waiting time. The control means is provided with a variable setting means which variably sets the waiting time in such a manner that the larger the detected value of the electric load, the shorter the length of the waiting time.

    摘要: There is disclosed herein a generator control system for use in a power supply system for vehicles in which a battery and an engine-driven generator are connected in parallel with a load. The total load current fed to the load is detected and the generated voltage level is changed by performing field regulation for the generator in accordance with the detected value. Switching of the generated voltage level of the generator is controlled according to the state of the load applied so as to improve power generation efficiency. Certain parameters, such as battery state, engine speed, auto choke and load state, can be provided as an input or inputs to a voltage regulator for the generator.
