Abstract: A flow responsive valve for a flow metering system comprising a fluid meter having a minimum measuring flow threshold. The valve is shiftable between an open position at flow rates above the minimum measuring flow threshold, and a pressure pulsating position depending on pressure differential over an inlet port and an outlet port of the valve. The pressure pulsating position alters between a closed position essentially prohibiting fluid flow therethrough at flow rates below the minimum measuring flow threshold, and an open position admitting fluid flow into the supply line at a measurable flow rate above the minimum measuring flow threshold.

Abstract: A valve prosthesis device is disclosed suitable for implantation in body ducts. The device comprises support stent, comprised of a deployable construction adapted to be initially crimped in a narrow configuration suitable for catheterization through the body duct to a target location and adapted to be deployed by exerting substantially radial forces from within by means of a deployment device to a deployed state in the target location, the support stent provided with a plurality of longitudinally rigid support beams of fixed length; valve assembly comprising a flexible conduit having an inlet end and an outlet, made of pliant material attached to the support beams providing collapsible slack portions of the conduit at the outlet. When flow is allowed to pass through the valve prosthesis device from the inlet to the outlet the valve assembly is kept in an open position, whereas a reverse flow is prevented as the collapsible slack portions of the valve assembly collapse inwardly providing blockage to the reverse flow.

Abstract: A method of replacing a deficient native aortic valve with a self-expandable prosthetic valve is disclosed. The method involves advancing a self-expandable prosthetic valve through a tapered tube for crimping the prosthetic valve into a crimped diameter. The prosthetic valve is then advanced into a restriction tube for maintaining the prosthetic valve in the crimped diameter. The prosthetic valve is then advanced into a body and is positioned within the deficient native aortic valve. The prosthetic valve is then released from the restriction tube such that the prosthetic valve self-expands to an expanded diameter for anchoring within the deficient native aortic valve. The prosthetic valve comprises an expandable tubular support frame and a valve assembly positioned within the support frame. The valve assembly is formed with pericardial tissue and has three leaflets for providing blockage to a reverse flow of blood.

Abstract: A prosthetic valve for catheter delivery is disclosed. The prosthetic valve comprises a valve assembly having an inlet, a plurality of leaflets and commissural points. The prosthetic valve also includes a support stent comprising a web-like construction and plurality of longitudinal support beams. The support stent is configured to be collapsible for percutaneous delivery through a blood vessel and expandable to contact the the native valve. The support stent supports the inlet of the valve assembly and the commissural points of the valve assembly are secured at the longitudinal support beams. The longitudinal support beams comprise a plurality of bores and the leaflets are secured to the longitudinal support beams via threads passing through the plurality of bores.

Abstract: An irrigation leakage prevention device for coupling between an irrigation supply source and an irrigation emitter unit.
