摘要: Methods are disclosed for capturing image data from three or more image sensors, and for processing the captured image data into left views of a panorama taken from each image sensor and right views taken of the panorama from each image sensor. 摘要: A see-through head mounted-display and method for operating the display to optimize performance of the display by referencing a user profile automatically. The identity of the user is determined by performing an iris scan and recognition of a user enabling user profile information to be retrieved and used to enhance the user's experience with the see through head mounted display. The user profile may contain user preferences regarding services providing augmented reality images to the see-through head-mounted display, as well as display adjustment information optimizing the position of display elements in the see-though head-mounted display.

摘要: Embodiments for interacting with an executable virtual object associated with a real object are disclosed. In one example, a method for interacting with an executable virtual object associated with a real object includes receiving sensor input from one or more sensors attached to the portable see-through display device, and obtaining information regarding a location of the user based on the sensor input. The method also includes, if the location includes a real object comprising an associated executable virtual object, then determining an intent of the user to interact with the executable virtual object, and if the intent to interact is determined, then interacting with the executable object.

摘要: A method is disclosed for stitching together first and second sets of images from three or more image sensors. The first set of images are combined into a composite left view of the panorama, and the second set of images are combined into a composite right view of the panorama. When properly stitched together, the left and right views may be presented as a stereoscopic view of the panorama. A stitching algorithm is applied which removes any disparity due to the parallax in the combined left images and in the combined right images.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating panoramic stereoscopic images. The system includes an assembly of three or more catadioptric image sensors affixed to each other in a chassis. Each image sensor generates a catadioptric image of a panorama, which may for example be a 360° view of a scene. The software components process the catadioptric image to a 3D stereoscopic view of a panorama.

As the viewing angle of the image data changes, the audio data is processed to rotate the captured sound spatialization field to the same extent. Thus, the audio data remains mapped to the image data whether the image data is rotated about a single axis or about more than one axis.

摘要: A method for assessing a attentiveness to visual stimuli received through a head-mounted display device. The method employs first and second detectors arranged in the head-mounted display device. An ocular state of the wearer of the head-mounted display device is detected with the first detector while the wearer is receiving a visual stimulus. With the second detector, the visual stimulus received by the wearer is detected. The ocular state is then correlated to the wearer's attentiveness to the visual stimulus.
