Abstract:
A method of calibrating a test chart is provided. First, a reference scanning device scans a reference test chart to obtain a plurality of reference optical density (OD) values. The reference test chart includes a plurality of reference blocks. Then, the reference scanning device scans a test chart to obtain a plurality of first OD values. The test chart includes a plurality of blocks, which corresponds to the reference blocks. Next, a compensation function derived from respectively converting the first OD values into the reference OD values is obtained.
Abstract:
The present invention provides polyimides and co-polyimides that are organosoluble. The polyimides and co-polyimides are prepared from an aromatic diamine having ortho-linked phenylene and pendant tert-butyl group, i.e., 1,2-bis(4-aminophenoxy)-4-tert-butyl-benzene, or its mixture with other diamines, and a mixture of dianhydrides that containing at least one dianhydride selected from s-BPDA, DSDA, ODPA, 6FDA and other diether-dianhydrides.

The present invention provides polyimides and co-polyimides that are organosoluble. The polyimides and co-polyimides are prepared from an aromatic diamine having tert-butyl group, i.e., 1,4-bis(4-aminophenoxy)-2-tert-butyl-benzene, or its mixture with other diamines, and a mixture of dianhydrides that containing DSDA or 6FDA or other diether-dianhydrides.
Abstract:
A compound or polymer having a bis(phenoxy)naphthalene structure, a high molecular weight, and very good mechanical performance and heat-resistivity is provided. The polymer can be polyamides, polyimides or poly(amide-imide)s and can have a basic structure of ##STR1## wherein R1 is a naphthalene ring.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a poly(amide-ether-imide) and the preparation of the same. An ether chain-containing aromatic diamine is subject to thermal condensation with trimellitic anhydride (TMA) in a polar solvent to obtain diimide dicarboxylic acid, followed by polycondensing the diimide dicarboxlic acid with diamine to form the poly(amide-ether-imide). The poly(amide-ether-imide) of the present invention has superior strength, heat resistance, and processability. The preparation of the present invention is simple and economic.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a series of easily processable poly(ether-imide)s that are organic-soluble and can afford colorless films, their organic solutions and their manufacturing process. The poly(ether-imide) is prepared from a dianhydride and a diamine, wherein the dianhydride is a bis(ether anhydride) having tert-butyl group, i. e. 1,4-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)-2-tert-butylbenzene dianhydride.

Abstract:
A method of recovering and separating water-soluble cyclodextrins from cyclodextrin formation liquid, wherein the CD formation liquid or the CD liquid after separating .beta.-CD by concentrated precipitation method is mixed with .alpha.-amylase to hydrolyze dextrins to small oligosaccharides, then is concentrated and precipitated again to separate the remained .beta.-CD, after that, soluble .alpha.- and .gamma.-CD are recovered by using inclusion extraction method with organic solvent from the residual liquid.
