The system includes a candidate clock generation circuit that operates to receive the incoming data stream and generate candidate clock signals. A transition density detector circuit determines a transition density parameter associated with each of the candidate clock signals. A controller operates to determine the optimal clock signal based on the transition density parameters.

摘要： The present invention provides an isolated nucleic acid comprising a first nucleotide sequence encoding an amino acid sequence comprising at least three positively charged amino acid residues, positioned upstream and in frame with a second nucleotide sequence encoding a protein. In addition, the present invention provides an isolated nucleic acid comprising a first nucleotide sequence encoding a DNA binding protein, positioned upstream and in frame with a second nucleotide sequence encoding a protein. An isolated nucleic acid is also provided, which comprises a first nucleotide sequence encoding a bacteriophage lambda repressor protein, positioned upstream and in frame with a second nucleotide sequence encoding a protein. The present invention further provides a method of producing a eukaryotic protein in a bacterial cell comprising: a) introducing the expression vector of this invention, wherein the second nucleotide sequence encodes a eukaryotic protein, into the bacterial cell; and b) culturing the bacterial cell under conditions whereby the second nucleotide sequence of the expression vector is expressed to produce the eukaryotic protein. A method of producing a eukaryotic protein in a bacterial cell in high yield is also provided, comprising: a) introducing the expression vector of this invention, wherein the second nucleotide sequence encodes a eukaryotic protein, into the bacterial cell; and b) culturing the bacterial cell under conditions whereby the second nucleotide sequence of the expression vector is expressed to produce the eukaryotic protein in high yield.

In some embodiments, a security server may receive sensor data from one or more sensors that are located at a premises. Subsequently, the security server may classify a first portion of the received sensor data as critical sensor data, (e.g., based on the first portion of the received sensor data being associated with a critical function). In addition, the security server may classify a second portion of the received sensor data as non-critical sensor data (e.g., based on the second portion of the received sensor data being associated with a non-critical function). Thereafter, the security server may process the critical sensor data, and further may provide the non-critical sensor data to a network server for processing.

摘要： An apparatus and method for detecting a signal in an optical data network is disclosed. A peak power level and an average power level are measured for an optical input to an optical detector. A threshold power level is associated with each average power level that is sufficient to distinguish a data signal form optical noise at the average power level. A signal is detected if the measured peak power level exceeds the threshold power level appropriate for the average power level. In one embodiment, a threshold value of a ratio of the peak power level to the average power level is calculated and a signal is detected if the ratio of the measured peak power level to the average power exceeds the threshold value.
