The overall theme of the game revolves around a touring band and the object of the game is to arrive on the performing stage with a certain number of band members and with band equipment. Forming a part of the game is a series of tokens that are moved along the network of paths. Further, there is provided a deck of “Consequence” cards with three different configurations within the deck of cards designed to enable the players to control the length of each game played, a printer/computer preprogrammed with the structure of the deck of “Consequence” cards containing the three different configurations designed to enable the players to control the length of each game played, a deck of “Band Member” cards, and a set or deck of “Band Equipment” cards. During the course of the game, as the tokens are advanced along the network of paths, the individuals playing the game will deal with consequences expressed by the “Consequence” cards due to landing on certain increments of the network of paths and further the players will aim to collect a certain number of band cards that represent a single band and at the same time collect at least one “Band Equipment” card, all prior to reaching the performing stage.

An educational game for mathematics has a poly outline or spherical shape board with a continuous play path along its edge and is labeled with different mathematical strands. Strands include question cards, segments labeled as mathematical concepts, and a monetary amount. Game pieces are included but are not part of the game board itself. When a player tosses a positive integer with both dice (E.g. cube subtracted from decahedron) and lands on a segment, he/she will receive credit for correctly answering a strand card question. If the dice toss result is negative, he/she may not attempt a question. If segments are credited to other players, he/she must pay a penalty derived from a mathematical equation. Players will have opportunities to place desks/tables on their credited segments. Greater fees occur with desks/tables present. Players track losses/gains on a money tracking card. The player with the most amount of money after a set time, or a player who has made all other players forfeit wins the game. A means of playing the present game is also disclosed.

A game is provided in which a horse race is simulated. The game layout includes a contiguous lane divided into a plurality of spaces, each of which is designated with a particular task or event. A unique space, designated the Winner's Circle, is located at or near the center of the board and is connected to the contiguous lane by at least one space, designated the Stretch. A player's token moves around the board a number of spaces within the lane according to the outcome of a random number generator. A player landing on a space will take one of a series of action determined by the designation of the space on which his or her token lands. Three sets of spaces, designated WIN, PLACE or SHOW, direct the player to answer a horse racing trivia question selected at random by another player. If the player answers correctly, he or she is awarded a pari-mutual ticket, which is used to place a wager on a simulated horse race. Simulated horse races are run whenever a player lands on a space designated for a race. Players who successfully bet on a simulated horse race are awarded game money and, when sufficient game money is accumulated, may leave the contiguous lane and enter the Stretch and the Winner's Circle. The first player to enter the Winner's Circle and successfully answer a horse racing trivia question is the winner of the game.
