摘要： A filtration assembly for a pressurized fluid system having a horizontally oriented tubular pressure vessel with a removable lid. A plurality of shroud tubes arranged in an inner array and a surrounding outer array receive contaminated fluid from the pressure vessel inlet through apertures in a vessel bulkhead to which the shroud tubes are attached. A plurality of tubular filter media elements with a closed end are received in each shroud tube and the opposite open end of each filter element is attached over an aperture in a cover plate sealed over the open end of the shroud tube. A tubular back wash arm has its opposite ends disposed for, upon rotation by a servo motor, being positioned progressively over selected apertures in the bulkhead for connecting the selected filter media elements to a drain for effecting backwashing.

摘要： A flow through fluid pressure vessel of the type containing filter bags formed by a tubular shell, a one-piece cast bottom closure with an integral outlet port fitting welded to one end of the shell, a one-piece cast combination bulkhead and flange ring welded to the opposite end of the shell, a cast inlet fitting inserted through an aperture in the shell and connected to an inlet opening through the bulkhead and welded to the shell aperture. A cast closure/lid forms an inlet plenum with the bulkhead and is releasably sealed over the flange ring.

摘要： A fluid treatment system having in one version an irradiation chamber with UV lamps with a swirl vane pack in the inlet for effecting clockwise and counterclockwise swirl in fluid entering the chamber. Other versions employ a central filter media element with an irradiation chamber with UV lamps disposed annularly thereabout. In other versions, mechanical wiper discs are provided for wiping debris from the filter media and the lamp tubes. In other versions, the UV lamps are in a central irradiation chamber with plural filter media tubes arrayed annularly there around. In other versions, mechanical wipers are provided for the UV tubes and a rotating drain arm is provided for backwashing individual filter tubes. In other versions, the central filter and annularly arrayed UV tubes are mounted in a pressure vessel lid.

Actuators connected to an outwardly extending rod move a wiper piston to scrub the upstream side of an annular filter media element. The piston moves a main valve member to isolate a purge chamber from the filtering chamber. Remotely operated valves control flushing of the purged chamber. The main valve has a bleed valve to provide pressure equalization for facilitating main valve movement.

摘要： A fluid pressure vessel has a chamber with an inlet and outlet with a nested primary and secondary filter bag disposed such that the primary bag communicates exclusively with the inlet, and flow through the primary bag flows through the secondary bag before the outlet. The primary bag is disposed in a first rigid porous basket and the bag rim seals against a flange on the first basket. The secondary filter bag surrounds the first basket and the rim of the secondary bag is sealed around the flange of first basket. A second rigid porous basket surrounds the secondary filter bag and is sealed on the rim of the secondary filter bag and is sealed against the inner periphery of the pressure chamber by an O-ring.

摘要： A filtering system having a housing forming a cavity with a fluid inlet and outlet remote therefrom with a partially porous basket filled with particulate or granular polymer filtering material and the basket surrounded by a bag filter. The housing inlet receives effluent from a strainer. The particulate may be filled in a monofilament polyethylene woven mesh sleeve in the form of a removable cartridge. A pump supplied fluid to be filtered through the strainer and filter housing. The system may be mounted on a wheeled cart for portability; and, in one exemplary version, includes a wastewater reservoir connected to the strainer inlet.
