    Abstract: A technology to measure the mass flux distribution of liquid spray to evaluate droplet dispersion of a spray device for liquids such as fuel, paints, or coating agents, is provided. The apparatus for measuring spray mass flux to evaluate the droplet dispersion of the spray device includes a liquid spraying part including a spray nozzle to spray liquid, a spray collecting part to collect the liquid sprayed from the liquid spraying part, a transfer tube to transfer the liquid collected in the spray collecting part, a multi-cylinder part including a plurality of cylinders to receive the liquid collected in the spray collecting part, a movable mass measurement part to measure a mass of each cylinder of the multi-cylinder part, and a mass flux calculating part to calculate a distribution graph of mass flux of the sprayed liquid.

    Abstract: A carbon substrate, method, and a system for manufacturing the same. The method includes forming an oxidized carbon precursor fiber preweb comprising oxidized carbon precursor staple fibers and binder staple fibers; impregnating the oxidized carbon precursor fiber preweb with a slurry including a thermosetting resin and carbonaceous fillers and drying the resulting preweb to obtain an oxidized carbon precursor fiber web; applying heat and pressure to the oxidized and impregnated carbon precursor fiber web, to cure the thermosetting resin and press the oxidized carbon precursor fiber web; and heating the oxidized carbon precursor fiber web in an inert atmosphere, thereby stabilizing and carbonizing the oxidized carbon precursor staple fibers to obtain a carbon substrate. The present invention may utilize a combination of carbon precursor staple fibers in an oxidized form with low ductility and high stiffness; and binder staple fibers composed of a polymer resin.

    Abstract: A portable terminal having a hinge apparatus is provided. The portable terminal includes a first housing, a second housing pivotally coupled to the first housing so that the second housing can be unfolded from and folded onto the first housing, and a hinge apparatus coupling the first housing and the second housing together. The hinge apparatus provides a first hinge axis and a second hinge axis perpendicular to each other, in which, from the folded state in which the second housing is folded on the first housing, the second housing is operable to rotate about the first hinge axis to be located in an upper side of the first housing and to rotate about the second hinge axis to be located in a first side of the first housing. Also, the hinge apparatus allows the second housing to rotate about the first hinge axis to be unfolded at an angle of approximately 90° with respect to the first housing and then rotate about the second hinge axis so that an inner face of the second housing is oriented in a same direction in which a first side of the portable terminal faces. Therefore, the hinge apparatus provides a portable terminal that is convenient to use not only communication functions, but also multimedia services such as watching broadcastings.
