摘要: The present invention proposes a method for informing a lawful interception system of the serving system serving an intercepted target (MS) roaming within a communication network system, the communication network system comprising at least one serving system each serving system comprising at least one serving system node, (SGSN) serving the intercepted target for communication, the method comprising the steps of first detecting a serving system node change request (1.) from the intercepted target (MS) towards a new serving system node which is currently not serving the target, first processing said serving system node change request at said new serving system node currently not serving the target, wherein said processing comprises the inclusion, to the request, of a serving system address of the new serving system node currently not serving the target, and first forwarding said processed request (2.) to an old serving system node currently serving the target. Also, the present invention proposes a serving system node adapted to be used in such a method.

摘要: The invention relates to a packet-switched part of a mobile communication system, utilising PDP addresses as temporary or permanent network-layer subscriber addresses. With the PDP context a mobile station (MS) is connected to different PDP addresses. A PDP context comprises different data transmission parameters, such as QoS and TFT. The user can modify his PDP context. The invention comprises storing (3-6) the original TFT parameter at least for the duration of the PDP context modification, so that it can be returned (3-9) to the gateway GPRS support node (GGSN) if the radio network does not accept the new QoS profile during the PDP context modification.

摘要: An apparatus is disclosed which according to an embodiment is configured to store a direct tunnel context. The direct tunnel context comprises a field or flag indicating whether or not a direct tunnel is established between the apparatus and a radio network, and further comprises at least one of a tunnel endpoint identifier and an address of a user plane of a serving node. The direct tunnel context optionally further comprises at least one of a tunnel endpoint identifier and an address of a user plane of a controller of the radio network. The apparatus may be a gateway or a gateway general packet radio service support node. The invention further provides a method, system, device and program suitable or configured to handle such direct tunnel contexts.

摘要: A method and apparatus that can be used for differentiating a GGSN terminated PDP context from a PGW terminated EPS bearer during the Inter-RAT handovers are provided. The method can include checking an access point name received from a first network entity. The method can also include, when the access point name does not contain an evolved packet system specific label, initiating a context deactivation.

摘要: The invention proposes a method and system for handling transmission of packets and/or signalling in a system including a node, e.g. SGSN, for transmitting data packets and/or signalling to another entity or receiving data packets and/or signalling from the another entity, e.g. GGSN. The node has a distributed architecture which includes at least two processing units each having their own address or identifier and being able to transmit and/or receive packets and/or signalling to or from the another entity. The node is adapted to send, in case one or more of its processing units is at least temporarily no longer usable or to be used for sending or receiving packets and/or signalling, information to the another entity for informing the another entity thereon. The information sent from the node to the another entity may contain an address or identifier of another processing unit to be used for receiving and transmitting packets and/or signalling instead of the processing unit no longer to be used.
