摘要: A method for bandwidth sharing is provided. The method may include getting a list of neighboring communications hubs, the neighboring communications hubs being disposed in respective neighboring residences. The neighboring communications hubs may be communicatively coupled to the first communications hub using a first broadband data network provisioned by an Internet Service Provider (ISP), and the neighboring residences may be within a same predetermined geographic region as the first residence or within a predetermined temporal distance on a data network from the first residence. The method determines if a data requirement exceeds bandwidth available to the first communications hub and provides a request for data to a neighboring communications hub. The request corresponds to the data requirement. The method then receives data responsive to the request from the neighboring communications hub.

The system for automatically capturing configuration changes may detect changes to configurations of cloud computing resources across the geographic regions, in real-time. The changes may be stored in a central data storage device instantiated by a central cloud computing account. Furthermore, a relationship graph indicating the relationships between the different cloud computing resources may be generated.

摘要: Technologies for offloaded management of communication are disclosed. In order to manage communication with information that may be available to applications in a compute device, the compute device may offload communication management to a host fabric interface using a credit management system. A credit limit is established, and each message to be sent is added to a queue with a corresponding number of credits required to send the message. The host fabric interface of the compute device may send out messages as credits become available and decrease the number of available credits based on the number of credits required to send a particular message. When an acknowledgement of receipt of a message is received, the number of credits required to send the corresponding message may be added back to an available credit pool.

摘要: Out-of-band management techniques for networking fabrics are described. In an example embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a packet-switched network interface to deconstruct a packet received via an out-of-band management network and control circuitry to execute an out-of-band management agent, and the out-of-band management agent may be operative to identify a configuration command comprised in the received packet and control an optical circuit-switched network interface based on the configuration command. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a computer-implemented method, a system, and a computer program product for distributing data on multiple servers to multiple nodes in a cluster. In the method, each of M servers is instructed to divide data thereon into N data segments. M and N are integers greater than one. The M servers are instructed to send N×M data segments on the M servers to N nodes in a cluster concurrently. For each of the M servers, the N data segments are sent respectively to the N nodes. When any given node in the cluster receives a data piece of a data segment from a server of the M servers, the given node is instructed to transmit the received data piece to remaining nodes in the cluster other than the given node.

Exemplary methods include: broadcasting by a hub an unsolicited announcement over a network to a plurality of devices coupled to a router, the unsolicited announcement being configured to cause at least some of the plurality of devices to store in a table a link-layer address of the hub as a link-layer address of the router; receiving by the hub a data packet from a device of the plurality of devices; and selectively directing by the hub the received packet to a first broadband network or a second broadband network using predetermined criteria.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed herein for managing network bandwidth in a distributed system having multiple endpoints that upload data to a central server or server cluster. One embodiment provides a computer-implemented method that includes receiving a logical topology of the network that is determined based on network measurements. The method further includes generating a tree having links of the logical network topology as nodes, and allocating bandwidth during a traversal of the tree to obtain a bandwidth allocation scheme for the endpoints uploading data. In addition, the method includes controlling bandwidth consumption by the endpoints based on the determined bandwidth allocation scheme.

摘要: Technologies for dynamically allocating resources within a self-managed node include a self-managed node to receive quality of service objective data indicative of a performance objective of one or more workloads assigned to the self-managed node. Each workload includes one or more tasks. The self-managed node is also to execute the one or more tasks to perform the one or more workloads, obtain telemetry data as the workloads are performed, determine, as a function of the telemetry data, an adjustment to the allocation of resources among the workloads to satisfy the performance objective, and apply the determined adjustment as the workloads are performed by the self-managed node. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
