摘要： A method is provided for use with an injector arrangement where particulates are to be entrained in a gas transport medium. The apparatus has a nozzle discharging conveying gas and a secondary, dosing gas flow provided from an annular passage. This secondary flow envelopes the conveying gas. Particulates are drawn into the combined gas streams by a venturi effect.

摘要： An injector for conveying a pulverulent material is supplied with entraining air via a line and with dosing air via another line. Dosing air and entraining air are kept constant in their total rate of flow by a flow controller. This yields a particularly homogeneous powder/air mixture, which is particularly advantageous in the conveying of coating powder for coating welded seams on can bodies.

摘要： The material is applied to the inner surface by means of a carrier gas stream, provided with a swirl, conducted through the hollow space. To prevent or reduce the swirl loss, which occurs if the laden carrier gas stream, provided with the swirl, forces the stagnant air in the hollow space from this space and then the loss develops by friction on the inner surface, before and during the flow of the laden carrier gas provided with the swirl, an additional gas, not laden with the material, is conducted through the hollow space with a siwrl, whose direction of rotation corresponds to the swirl of the laden carrier gas stream. For this purpose, the device has on the outlet of a passage element (1), equipped with a swirl-producing device 3 for the laden carrier gas stream, outlet nozzles (4), which feed to the laden carrier gas stream the additional gas with a swirl, whose direction of rotation corresponds to that (5) of the swirl-producing device.

The spray head is supplied with coating material through a feed line which passes through the seam welding machine for the container bodies. The combined spray and extraction head is also connected to a suction line which extracts excess coating material which has not been deposited on the internal walls of the container bodies, and returns it through the welding machine. In this way, the escape of coating material between the individual can bodies can largely be avoided, thus reducing contamination of equipment.
