    Abstract: At a measuring device, a measurement gauge comprises a measurement fluid passage and a measurement connection port, a main body comprises a main body fluid passage and a main body connection port, and a connector comprises a connecting tube, a first end of which is inserted into an interior of the measurement connection port, and a second end of which is inserted into an interior of the main body connection port, an annular first elastic body which seals a region between an outside circumferential portion of the first end of the connecting tube and an inside circumferential portion of the measurement connection port, and an annular second elastic body which seals a region between an outside circumferential portion of the second end of the connecting tube and an inside circumferential portion of the main body connection port.

    Abstract: In order that a temperature of a measurement object whose non-transmission wavelength range is narrow, such as isopropyl alcohol can be measured highly accurately without increasing the size of a radiation thermometer, the radiation thermometer includes an infrared detection element to detect infrared ray emitted from the measurement object. The radiation thermometer is designed to measure the temperature of the measurement object on the basis of intensity of infrared ray detected by the infrared detection element. The radiation thermometer further includes a filter group made up of a plurality of infrared filters arranged on an optical path of infrared ray introduced into the infrared detection element. The filter group permits transmission of at least infrared ray in each of a first wavelength range and a second wavelength range which are not overlapped with each other.

    Abstract: Provided is an electromagnetic sensor capable of stably measuring electric conductivity and the like even in the case where solid matters are mixed in a sample solution. The electromagnetic sensor includes a substrate, a through hole formed in the substrate, an electrode attached to a surface of the substrate, and a housing that covers the through hole and the electrode, and in this configuration, the sample solution supplied to a surface of the substrate opposite to the surface of the substrate having the electrode attached thereto is allowed to flow into the housing from the through hole and to be accommodated in the housing, so that the sample solution is allowed to be in contact with the electrode.

    Abstract: To accurately measure chromaticity and turbidity while achieving downsizing and employing a turbidity measurement method based on water quality standards of each country, an optical measurement includes a cell that accommodates a liquid sample, a transmitted light measurement light source that irradiates the liquid sample in the cell with light for transmittance, a scattered light measurement light source that irradiates the liquid sample in the cell with light for scattering, a photodetector that detects light from both sources, and a reflection mirror that reflects the light for transmittance in the cell to cause the light for transmittance to be directed to the photodetector. The scattered light measurement light source emits the light for scattering toward a post-reflection optical path of the light for transmittance reflected by the reflection mirror and directed to the photodetector so that the light for scattering intersects the post-reflection optical path at a predetermined angle.

    Abstract: At a measurement apparatus, a measurement gauge comprises a plurality of measurement terminals, a main body comprises a plurality of main body terminals that come in contact with the plurality of measurement terminals when the measurement gauge is installed with respect to the main body, and the measurement apparatus comprises a power supply unit that supplies electricity to the plurality of main body terminals, a detection unit that detects installation of the measurement gauge with respect to the main body; and a switching unit that, when the detection unit detects the installation of the measurement gauge with respect to the main body, causes electrical connection between the power supply unit and at least one of the plurality of main body terminals to be switched from a state in which electrical connection is blocked to a state in which electrical connection is made.

    Abstract: The present claimed invention provides a calcium ion concentration measuring device that can measure a concentration of a calcium ion in blood of a domestic animal with high accuracy without being affected by temperature on the spot where the blood is collected. The calcium ion concentration measuring device is a portable one for measuring the concentration of the calcium ion in the blood of the domestic animal, and comprises a responsive membrane that selectively reacts with the calcium ion, an internal liquid stored in a space separated from the outside by the responsive membrane, and an internal electrode arranged to be in contact with the internal liquid, and the isothermal intersection point of the internal liquid is set within a range of the concentration of the calcium ion contained in the blood of the domestic animal.
