Abstract:
A pipe making and breaking apparatus having top, middle and bottom wrenches connected to a frame. A torquing cylinder operatively extends between the middle wrench and the frame and when actuated through one or more torquing cycles causes an upper pipe to make (top and middle wrenches) or break (middle and bottom wrenches) relative to a lower pipe. A grip hold actuator maintains the middle wrench in the gripping position continuously during the making torquing cycles. A continuous chain spinner above the top wrench spins the top pipe to make a position or away from a make position. The spinner can be a stand alone unit or can hang freely in the derrick or can be part of the make/break apparatus. A spinner drive chain motor when pressurized and when an oiler button is actuated causes lubricant to be sprayed out a nozzle on the (moving) chain. Windows (guide gates) and/or guide posts direct the chain so as to not bunch up against the casing sprockets.

Abstract:
A coin operated product dispensing machine including a housing with an enclosed main display compartment and an elongate slide plate extending therethrough and attached at one end to the housing with a biasing element, an opposite free end of the slide plate extending outwardly from a front wall of the housing and defining a pull handle, wherein the slide plate is movable between a relaxed position and an extended position by pulling the handle at the free end thereof. A carousel, including vertically oriented chambers for containing a stacked array of individual product units therein, is rotatably supported within the main display compartment such that each of the chambers is selectively positionable in vertical alignment over a drop hole in the slide plate, the drop hole being sized and configured to receive an individual, lower most product unit dropped from the aligned chamber. A coin released lock mechanism, structured to accept a predetermined size coin and reject other size coins, releases the slide plate for outward movement to the extended position, causing the individual product unit within the drop hole to be carried from below the chamber to a drop chute where it is deposited thereon and dispensed to a user.

Abstract:
A cam-operated, rack-on-rack adjustment assembly on a drill pipe spinner allows the user to easily and in small increments (distances) (three-eighths inch, one-quarter inch or less, or more) adjust the effective pipe engaging length of the drive chain. In other words, the effective length of chain wrap (the amount that grips the pipe) given the pipe size can be adjusted.
Abstract:
A multi-display sign assembly, which is particularly lightweight, may be hung in a variety of locations which could not normally support such a sign structure, and functions in smooth, quiet, and relatively low vibration movements, the sign assembly including a frame structure having a pair of support bars, and a plurality of elongate, lightweight triangular members rotatably held between the support bars by axle bars which extend longitudinally through the triangular members and protrude through the support bars. A motor is connected to a reducer which regulates the RPM's of a drive gear connected thereto, the drive gear including teeth only along 120 degrees of its exterior surface such that when the teeth engage a secondary gear which is connected to the axle bar of one of the triangle members, that triangle member will rotate resulting in a new display face of all of the triangle members rotating to form a new one of three distinct display surfaces containing advertising or like indicia thereon.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a composition containing a catalyst suitable for producing ethylene and other C2+ hydrocarbons at high selectivity while improving both methane conversion and product yield. Particularly, the catalyst contains mixed metal oxides having at least one alkali earth metal and at least one rare earth metal along with an alkali metal promoter in the form of an alkali metal or in the form of an alkali metal tungstate. The invention further provides a method for preparing such a composition, using a calcination process to calcine the alkali metal promoters together with mixed metal oxides. Additionally, the invention further describes a process for producing C2+ hydrocarbons, using such a composition.
