摘要: Different solvents for a dampening fluid are disclosed. The solvent is a volatile hydrofluoroether liquid or a volatile silicone liquid. Such liquids have a lower heat of vaporization, a lower surface tension, and better kinematic viscosity compared to water, which is the conventional solvent used in dampening fluids. The dampening fluids, which are relatively nonpolar, can be used in a combination with polar inks to form a new type of digital lithographic printing system.

摘要: A hand-held device for providing laser-based dermatological treatments includes a laser beam source supported in a device body, an automated scanning system, and control electronics. The automated scanning system is configured to receive an input beam generated by the laser beam source and scan the input beam to provide a series of output beams for delivery to the skin via an application end of the device to form a pattern of treatment spots on the skin. The application end is configured for movement across the skin during a treatment session. The control electronics control the laser beam source and/or the automated scanning system to deliver the scanned output beams to the skin at a radiation intensity sufficient to provide an effective dermatological treatment, and wherein the scanned output beams delivered from the application end of the device meet the Class 1M or better eye safety classification per the IEC 60825-1.

摘要: A method is disclosed in the context of a system comprises an electrophotographic subsystem, a transfer subsystem, an imaging member, and an inking subsystem. The electrophotographic subsystem comprises a photoreceptor, a charging subsystem, an exposure subsystem, and a development subsystem. In operation, the photoreceptor is charged areawise. An exposure pattern is formed by the exposure subsystem on the surface of the charged photoreceptor to thereby write a latent charge image onto the photoreceptor surface. The image is developed with an image defining material, such as a dampening fluid. The image defining material forms a negative pattern of the image to be printed. This negative image is then transferred to the reimageable surface. The negative image is then developed with ink. The inked image may be transferred to a substrate.

摘要: A bundling apparatus for sheet-type medium is used for stacking and bundling sheet-type medium. The bundling apparatus for sheet-type medium comprises a banknote delivery channel (11), a bundling mechanism (13) and a position switching mechanism (14), a banknote stacking position (61) formed at the end of the banknote delivery channel as well as a bundling position (62) formed corresponding to the bundling mechanism, the position switching mechanism (14) comprising a rotating power shaft (41) driven by an electric motor and at least two banknote stacking plates (51) installed evenly on the power shaft. When any banknote stacking plate is located in the banknote stacking position, a corresponding banknote stacking plate is located in the bundling position. The present invention achieves the transition between the motion of stacking and bundling the sheet-type medium, improves work efficiency and saves space.
