    摘要: A reflection mixing member (13) has an alignment in which light from a first light source is incident on a reflecting surface (13a) and light from a second light source is incident on a reflecting surface (13b). A relationship between a pitch Wp, which is a pitch between portions (triangular prisms) respectively formed of the reflecting surface (13a) and the reflecting surface (13b) in the reflection mixing member (13), and a lens pitch Wf is set to be (Wp/Wf≠1). As a result, light fluxes of respectively different distribution are incident on each lens portion of fly's eye lens 14a, so that it is possible to prevent luminance non-uniformity in light incident on a liquid crystal display panel (5) from being generated and prevent color non-uniformity from being generated on a screen at the same time.

A light given out from each lens in the light-incident-side fly's eye lens becomes two light fluxes via respective polarizing beam splitters and the two light fluxes pass through two lenses in the light-exit-side fly's eye lens. The electromagnetic shielding plate has an aperture on an optical axis of each lens in the light-exit-side fly's eye lens. The electromagnetic wave shielding plate is grounded through the electromagnetic wave shielding wall.

    摘要: Modulated light (image light) which has been modulated by passing through a liquid crystal display panel passes through an apical angle variable prism (so-called, a vari-angle prism) and then is enlarged and projected by a projection lens. The apical angle variable prism is configured to change the prism apical angle with, for example, an electromagnetic actuator. The microcomputer calculates a projection optical axis correction value based on hand shake detection signals from a sensor and controls the aforementioned actuator based on the correction value. With this control, shakes of projected images due to hand shakes are prevented.

    摘要: This invention provides a stereoscopic display without using eyeglasses which does not require a means to switch images for left and right eyes and by which each viewer can observe a stereoscopic image even when many persons observe an image. The display includes a projector for a left eye 1L, a projector for a right eye 1R, and lenticular lens on a light incident side 2a which forms images for left and right eyes projected from each projector on a diffusing plate 2b alternately. A shutter means 4L, 4R include a plurality of shutter regions which can switch between light transmission and light shading and are placed laterally, and form a narrow-width image light reaching region, of which width is less than that of the shutter region, in each image forming region on the diffusing plate. Lenticular lens on a light incident side 2c guides an image in a narrow-width image light reaching region in an image forming region for a left eye to a viewer's left eye and an image in a narrow-width image light reaching region in an image forming region for a right eye to a viewer's right eye. A shutter control means 5 controls light transmission and light shading of said shutter region on the basis of output results from a sensor which detects a viewer's position.

    摘要: A stereo-graphic apparatus has first and second imaging devices to provide a first image and a second image, respectively. The first and the second imaging device are spaced from each other to define a predetermined convergence angle. A distance detecting apparatus detects distance from the first and the second imaging device to an object for imaging. A first electric zooming apparatus receives a signal from the first imaging device and extracts image data of a predetermined area from the first image. A second electric zooming apparatus receives a signal from the second imaging device and extracts image data of a predetermined area of image. A control device controls the extraction of image data according to the distance information. According to the distance information, the extracting area is moved so that the focused object is located on the center of each of the provided images. As a result, the convergence angel is substantially changed according to the distance between the object and the imaging device.
