A vehicular lamp includes a plurality of lamp units; a lamp chamber for housing the plurality of lamp units; and a bounding member for bounding the plurality of lamp units in the lamp chamber. The bounding member includes a sheet-like material integrally formed into a predetermined shape so that one or more bounding walls are provided between or among the plurality of lamp units.
Abstract:
A method for processing synthetic resins into a furnace fuel, comprising melting or semi-melting synthetic resins consisting essentially of film shaped synthetic resins to produce granular synthetic resins having a bulk density of at least 0.3 and an angle of repose of up to 40 degrees, wherein the angle of repose is a base angle when the granular synthetic resins are dropped on a horizontal plane surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus for blowing synthetic resin into a furnace including a first processing line for processing film-shaped synthetic resins into a granular synthetic resin material; a second processing line for processing non-film-shaped synthetic resins into a granular synthetic resin material; a primary storage silo; and a blowing station for supplying the granular synthetic resin material into a furnace.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for efficiently recovering energy from off-gas with high temperatures and high pressures released from the oxidation reactor of aromatic compounds such as xylene, pseudocumene, durene and the like. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for energy recovery from oxidation reactor off-gas, which comprises subjecting off-gas with high temperature and high pressure from an oxidation reactor to heat exchange with cooling water to cool the off-gas, subjecting the cooled off-gas to direct counter-flow contact with the water heated by said heat exchange to obtain a mixture of off-gas and steam, and cooled water, circulating the cooled water for reuse as said cooling water for said high temperature and high pressure off-gas, and sending the mixture of off-gas and steam to an expander to recover energy therefrom. According to the present invention, the energy recovered from off-gas increases by an amount equivalent to the amount of steam saturating in and accompanying the off-gas.
Abstract:
A surface of a linear magnetic bar is subjected to such high density energy as a fine beam of laser rays, electrons, ions, plasma or an electric current to change permeability of portions subjected to the high density energy so as to form graduations spaced uniformly. A magnetic sensor is used to detect variation in the permeability, thus measuring movement, speed or acceleration of the scale relative to the magnetic sensor. The scale may be formed on a movable portion of a machine, for example a piston rod of a die casting machine or an injection molding machine.
Abstract:
In a pump for use in a hot chamber type die casting machine wherein corrosive molten metal particularly aluminum or alloys thereof is injected into a metal mould through a goose neck shaped passage, a porous ceramic tube having a porosity of 10 to 40% and acting as the goose neck shaped passage is cast in the main body of the pump. The porous ceramic tube comprises sintered zircon or porous graphite.
Abstract:
A vehicular lamp having a light source unit 30 provided inside a lamp chamber formed by a lamp body 10 and a front cover 20, wherein a millimeter wave radar 40 is provided inside the lamp chamber, and a light guide plate 60 is provided between the front cover 20 and the millimeter wave radar 40, and the light guide plate 60 is illuminated by the light source of the lamp or by a dedicated light source provided solely for the light guide plate 60.
Abstract:
A method for blowing a synthetic resin material into a furnace which comprises processing film-shaped synthetic resins into a first granular resin material; crushing non-film-shaped synthetic resins into a second granular resin material; pneumatically feeding the first granular resin material and the second granular resin material to a furnace; and blowing the first and second granular resin material into the furnace.
Abstract:
A member is prepared by forming a magnetic surface layer on a magnetic base member having a different composition from the surface layer. A laser beam is radiated onto the member so as to fuse the member and the surface layer, thereby forming a fused portion having magnetic properties. A modified portion is formed in a portion of the fused portion corresponding to the surface layer such that this portion has different permeability from other portions of the surface layer.
Abstract:
A die casting apparatus has a sleeve having one end communicating with a die cavity defined by a movable die and a fixed die and connected to a feed pipe, a plunger slidably fitted in the sleeve for forcing molten metal supplied from the feed pipe through the sleeve into the die cavity, and a hydraulic cylinder for moving the plunger in the sleeve. An inert gas supply unit communicates with the sleeve for supplying an inert gas to a passage defined in the sleeve and also to the feed pipe. The inert gas supply unit comprises a closed casing and a gas feed pipe for supplying the inert gas into the closed casing. The casing is connected to an opposite end of the sleeve in covering relation thereto, and has a window for visually checking the interior of the casing therethrough.
