摘要: Provided are a heat exchanger capable of providing sufficient heat exchange capability even with heat transfer tubes having a reduced outer diameter, and a heat pump device using the same. The heat transfer tubes has an outer diameter D in a range of 5 mm≦D≦6 mm, has a thickness t in a range of 0.05×D≦t≦0.09×D, are disposed at a vertical pitch L1 in a range of 3×D≦L1≦4.2×D, and are disposed at a longitudinal pitch L2 in a range of 2.6×D≦L2≦3.64×D. A sufficiently increased heat exchange rate per unit weight is obtainable with the heat exchanger.

摘要: A condenser equipped with a receiver includes an inlet portion for refrigerant of the receiver opening in an axial direction of the receiver; an outlet portion for refrigerant of the condenser communicating with the inlet portion of the receiver; and an insertion portion provided on either the inlet portion or the outlet portion. The insertion portion is inserted into the outlet portion or the inlet portion, and the inlet portion and the outlet portion are brought into contact with each other to make a gastight condition between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. In this structure, the workability for attaching the receiver to the condenser and detaching the receiver from the condenser may be improved. Moreover, the strength for fixing the receiver to the condenser may be increased.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes a tank having a pipe insertion hole disposed in a tank wall and a fluid pipe connected to the tank wall for introducing a fluid into the tank or discharging the fluid from the tank. The tank wall has a burr formed around the pipe insertion hole extending toward an interior of the tank. The fluid pipe has a flange formed on its periphery by bending the fluid pipe onto itself. An end portion of the fluid pipe is inserted into the pipe insertion hole so that the flange contacts an outer surface of the tank wall, and the inserted end portion is expanded and caulked together with the burr. A brazing material may be fixed between the flange and the tank wall during brazing even during vibration. The length of the pipe inserted into the tank may be minimized. The contact area between the fluid pipe and the tank is thereby enlarged.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes reservoirs spaced apart from each other and a plurality of parallel heat transfer tubes fluidly connecting the reservoirs. An end portion of each heat transfer tube is connected to at least one of the reservoirs so that the end portion does not project into the interior of the reservoir. Thus, the dimension of the reservoir in the axial direction of the tubes and a proper volume of heat transfer medium may be minimized. Further, pressure loss can be reduced because there are no projecting tubes in the reservoirs to obstruct the flow of the heat transfer medium. Moreover, the strength of the connection between the tubes and the reservoirs can be increased because more contacting surface area is provided for making the connection, for example by brazing.

摘要: A multi-flow type heat exchanger includes a pair of headers and a plurality of heat transfer tubes interconnecting the headers. The flow direction of the heat exchange medium through the whole of the heat transfer tubes is only one direction. A flow division parameter &ggr; is defined as a ratio of a resistance parameter &bgr; of the heat transfer tubes to a resistance parameter &agr; of an entrance side header and is set to at least about 0.5. The flow division parameter is calculated, such that &ggr;=&bgr;/&agr;, where &bgr;=Lt/(Dt·n), and &agr;=Lh/Dh. The equation variables are defined as follows: Lt equals a length of each tube, Dt equals a hydraulic diameter of one tube, n equals a number of tubes, Lh equals a length of an entrance side header, and Dh equals a hydraulic diameter of the header. The flow division from the header to the tubes may be chosen at an optimum condition, and the heat exchanger may have superior performance.

摘要: A heat exchanger comprising header pipes, flat tubes extending between the header pipes and fin units extending between the flat tubes is disclosed. The header pipes include a plurality of holes on one side thereof for accepting the flat tubes. On the opposite side of the header pipes is at least one slit in which a partition plate is inserted. During the formation of the header pipe, a pair of projections are formed on the ends of the slit. After the partition plate is inserted into the header pipe, the projections are bent until they engage the partition plate thereby fixedly securing the partition plate within the header pipe.
