摘要: In a wireless communication system a control channel is required in order to use limited resources effectively. However, the control channel resource is part of the system overhead, and thus reduces the data channel resource used for data transmission. In the long term evolution (LTE) system based on OFDM, one sub frame the consists of fourteen OFDM symbols wherein a maximum of three OFDM symbols are used for the control channel resource and remaining eleven OFDM symbols are used for the data channel resource. Therefore, the quantity of energy that can be transmitted for the control channel resource is extremely limited compared to the data channel resource. For this reason, the coverage of the control channel becomes less than that &; of the data channel, and even if a user can successfully receive the data channel, reception failure of a control channel sometimes˜results in failure of data recovery. In the present invention, in order to expand the coverage of the control channel to at least the coverage of the data channel, the time resource of the transmission resource wherein the control channel is transmitted is expanded and allocated for sending and receiving the control channel. By way of methods for extending the time resource are provided a method wherein a plurality of sub frames are used to transmit one control channel, and a method wherein a part of a data channel is used for the control channel.

摘要: A ballistocardiogram (BCG) analysis apparatus, method, and system is provided for utilizing the BCG for a vehicle. A basic pattern is selected when measurement of a BCG is initiated. Data about BCG is measured for a predetermined period of time. Whether the basic pattern is suitable for the measured data is determined by comparing the measured data with the basic pattern. If the basic pattern is suitable for the measured BCG data, continuous data about the BCG is collected. Signal processing is performed based on pattern matching using the continuous data. A biological condition of the examinee is recognized using results of the signal processing. A posture of the examinee is measured, and if the posture of the examinee has changed, a pattern DB is searched, the basic pattern is changed to a suitable pattern, and then signal processing is performed.

摘要: A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving reference signals in Long Term Evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) systems includes determining whether a dedicated reference signal is detected in a current subframe; estimating, if a dedicated reference signal is detected in the current subframe, a data channel using the dedicated reference signal to receive data; and estimating, if no dedicated reference signal is detected in the current subframe, a data channel using a common reference signal detected in the current subframe to receive data. The transmission scheme uses a DeModulation Reference Signal (DM-RS) for channel response estimation. To secure backward compatibility of the LTE-A system, a Common Reference Signal is transmitted in normal subframes.

摘要: A linear phase detector includes an up/down pulse generator operating in response to received data signals and a recovered clock signal. The phase detector generates up and down pulses that have pulse widths proportional to the phase differences between transitions of the received data signals and edges of the recovered clock signal. By generating up and down pulses using a linear phase detector in proportion to a phase error, data signals are effectively recovered, even data signals with significant jitter.
