摘要: A base station is configured to transmit at least one signal in a first bandwidth portion of a cell, the at least one signal having a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH). The PBCH including a master information block (MIB), the MIB having an indication of time and frequency resources in relation to the at least one signal to acquire additional system information, the first bandwidth portion having a bandwidth less than a full bandwidth of the cell. The base station is further configured to transmit in time and frequency resources associated with the indication of the time and frequency resources and additional system information. The additional system information indicates a second bandwidth portion of the cell, the acquired additional system information being acquired within the second bandwidth portion.

摘要: A base station comprising a processor and a communication interface configured to communicate with a plurality of cells in the network. The processor and the communication interface are configured to initiate a Broadcast/Multicast Service Session in the plurality of cells and provide configuration, coordination and synchronization to the plurality of cells for the Broadcast/Multicast Service Session. This is to ensure that the plurality of cells transmit identical data, substantially simultaneously. The Broadcast/Multicast Service configuration comprises radio resource configuration information including time and frequency resources, transmission configuration including modulation and coding scheme, and scheduling period. The communication interface and processor are further configured to notify the plurality of cells when the Broadcast/Multicast Service Session starts and when it ends.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a signal in a time slot, wherein the signal includes a first reference signal, a second reference signal and data scrambled using a data scrambling sequence. Further, the first reference signal and the second reference signal are not scrambled using the data scrambling sequence. The second reference signal having a code sequence being a non-zero power of two in length and is time multiplexed with the data. The UE recovers the data of the received signal using the first or second reference signal.
