    摘要: The assembly includes a heat exchanger assembly including a plurality of tubes extending between first and second manifolds. A plurality of fins extend back and forth between and long the tubes in a continuous patch and define a plurality of legs extending between the tubes. Each of the legs includes a plurality of front long louvers for conveying a stream of air through the legs. Each of the legs further defines a plurality of main spoilers between the front long louvers and the back edges of the legs for inducing turbulence in the stream of air with each of the main spoilers having a spoiler height in the range of 50 to 90 percent of the long louver height and each of the main spoilers having a spoiler length in the range of 10 to 35 percent of the long louver length.

    摘要: An exhaust gas heat recovery (EGHR) heat exchanger, for recovering waste heat from the hot exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, having a housing and a cylindrical body disposed within the housing. The cylindrical body defines a central passageway and together with the housing defines an annular passageway for the flow of hot exhaust gases. A bypass means is disposed within the central passageway and adapted to selectively by-pass at least a portion of the exhaust gas from the central passageway to the annular passageway. The EGHR heat exchanger also includes at least one fluid tube extending along a tube axis and having at least one lobe extending the length of the tube thereby defining a lobed tube. The lobed tube is twisted about the tube axis forming a twisted lobed tube which is then coiled about the longitudinal axis within the annular exhaust gas passageway.

The stators have a front edge facing the heat exchanger and a back edge facing the fan blades. Each stator is connected to the inner rim with the front edge extending radially outward and farther than the back edge.

The motor is drivingly connected to the shaft to drive the first and second fans at the same number of revolutions per minute.     摘要: A U flow radiator 10 with a header tank 12 split into inlet and outlet sides I and O by a lengthwise divider wall 18 has a coolant inlet consisting of a cylindrical pipe 22. A hollow cylindrical barrel 24 co extensive and coaxial with pipe 22 and extending across divider wall 18, with cut outs 26 and 28 opening respectively into both sides I and O. A thin walled, hollow cylindrical sleeve 30 turns within barrel 24 with windows 36 and 38 that alternately block or open the cut outs 26 and 28, or open both partially. A rotary actuator 40 turns sleeve 30 within barrel 24. Coolant can be selectively routed all to the tank outlet side O, by passing the radiator 10 for quick warm up. After warm up, coolant can be routed to I or O in desired proportions to increase or decrease cooling capacity. With high engine cooling demand, all coolant is routed to the inlet side I and all coolant passes through radiator 10.
