Abstract: Automobile accessories, kits, and methods of use. An automobile accessory is a heel guard that can be applied to a floor and/or a floor mat within an interior of an automobile such as a car, a truck, a van, a bus, and the like. The heel guard may be secured to the floor and/or the floor mat to provide a layer of protection between the driver's shoe or foot and the floor and/or floor mat. The heel guard prevents damage to these surfaces due to friction produced by movement of the driver's foot during operation of the foot pedals of the automobile.

Abstract: A mobile vehicle lubrication unit for serving power transmission equipment elevated above ground level such as conveyors whereby the lubricant containing gear reducer unit is disposed in an enclosed body mounted on an upper portion of an elevated conveyor. The system includes a manifold system connectable to trailer mounted storage tanks for lubricants, pumps, filters, air supplies and supply lines, and transfer means mounted on a truck or trailer including side access to the control panel and transfer hoses enabling the user to transfer lubricants to elevated equipment such as conveyors by pulling along side of same. The device changes, filters, and replaces the oil in a reducer gearbox or other lubricant containing equipment which is not easily accessed from the ground level. Air presssure is used to evaculate used oil from the conveyor gear motor and/or reducer units and replaces the used oil with filtered or new oil through oil lines and hoses with quick disconnects which may be positioned on a manifold at ground level having oil lines in fluid communication with the gear motor/reducer unit.

Abstract: A method, system, and program for automatically building a locally managed virtual node grouping to handle a grid job requiring a degree of resource parallelism for execution within a grid environment are provided. The grid environment includes multiple resource nodes which are identified by physical location as physically disparate groups each managed by a grid manager. The grid managers include a grid virtual node grouping subsystem that enables a particular grid manager receiving a grid job that requires a particular degree of resource parallelism for execution to build a virtual node grouping of resources from across the grid environment and locally manage the resources included in the virtual node grouping. In particular, the particular grid manager accesses, from the other grid managers, a current availability and workload of each of the physically disparate resource nodes. The particular grid manager selects a selection of resource nodes to build into a virtual node grouping for executing the grid job. The virtual node grouping is built by the other grid managers enabling the particular grid manager to acquire temporary management control over the selection of resource nodes for a duration of the execution of the grid job within the virtual node grouping.

Abstract: A method and an associated system for monitoring and instantly identifying faults in a data communication cable are disclosed. A fault monitoring program learns a reference data traffic pattern communicated through the data communication cable by reading inputs from a sensor. The reference data traffic pattern is stored and is used for determining normalcy of data traffic through the data communication cable. The fault monitoring program monitors for a fault in a data traffic, and, if a fault is detected, activates a fault indicator sending out fault signals to notify users of the fault. If the fault is not recovered within a predefined recovery period, the fault monitoring program deactivates the fault indicator and shuts down a power source for later use of the data communication cable.

Abstract: A connector is provided. The connector can include a first housing, which can define a bore for receipt of at least one first electrical terminal. The first housing includes a first wall defining an aperture opposite a second wall. The connector can include a second housing, which can define a bore for receipt of at least one second electrical terminal. The second housing includes a first wall including a first engagement feature opposite a second wall. The connector includes a first rotatable element retained within the aperture of the first wall. The first rotatable element includes a first feature that engages the first engagement feature and a second feature. The connector can include a mechanical assist, which can include an assist feature. The assist feature can engage the second feature so that sliding movement of the mechanical assist draws the first electrical terminal into contact with the second electrical terminal.
