    摘要: Process for upgrading a paraffinic feedstock which includes: a) supplying the feedstock and an olefins-containing stream at a paraffin to olefin volume ratio greater than 2 to a reactor containing a zeolite-beta catalyst; and b) removing the upgraded product; wherein the process is operated at an olefin conversion of at least 90 mol % in an external circulation reactor having an extent of external circulation of liquid reactor content expressed as ##EQU1## of greater than 2 wherein .phi./v is the volumetric flow rate of feedstock and olefins-containing stream and .phi./vc is the volumetric external circulation flow rate, and upgraded products produced by the process.

    摘要: A method of preparing a silica-containing composition from a lithium silicate sol is disclosed. The compositions are prepared by heating shaped particles of lithium silicate sol to a temperature of about 70.degree. C. or more in the absence of a gelling agent and thereafter subjecting the particles to a washing step to remove lithium therefrom. By means of the novel method it is possible to prepare silica-containing compositions which are suitable as catalyst and/or adsorbent supports.

    摘要: An improvement in a process for the isomerization of cresols may be obtained by effecting the isomerization reaction of a cresol in the presence of a phosphorous containing crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite catalyst. The added phosphorous provides stability and longer life to the catalyst as well as more stable selectivity to the desired isomers. The isomerization reaction is effected at temperatures ranging from about 350.degree. C. to about 500.degree. C., pressures ranging from about 1 to about 60 atmospheres, a Liquid Hourly Space Velocity that ranges from 1 to about 5 hours.sup.-1, with the abovementioned catalyst containing from about 1% to about 8% by weight phosphorous.

The crystalline structure and activity of the SAPO-37 molecular sieve component is preserved by including a stabilizing amount of the organic template compound used in the manufacture of the molecular sieve within the pore structure thereof until such time as the catalyst is thermally activated during use.

    摘要: An FCC catalyst is made with a zeolite Beta which contains from about 0.1 to 15 wt % based on the weight of the zeolite Beta of gallium, zinc or mixtures thereof. The catalyst substantially increases the aromatic content of the gasoline compared to just using a catalyst of zeolite Beta. The catalyst can also be made with an inorganic oxide binder for the metal modified zeolite Beta and other catalytically active zeolite components.
